Played this one to its death. It stood just outside the University library in Rotterdam and I as tempted every time I past it. Imho it was a revelotionary design and the pins after it owe Pinbot. I also played BOPB and JB because of the fond memories but this one is the original/,

Purchased from a friend who wasn't playing it anymore. Got a great deal. Pin*Bot can be a little unforgiving with power drains from kickouts, but nailing a solar value that a bunch of chumps accrued for you in multiplayer is a fantastic feeling. Will stay in my collection for years to come.

This was a game I was positive I was gonna love. I had played it often before buying my own. Love the theme, the art, the sound package, but for whatever reason it didn't hold my interest after a few month. If I had room and money for a very large collection, this would definitely have a place in it.

A game that was very different in its day. It had such a great look to it. Easy and fun to play.

I recently gave pin-bot a good test drive. it is very impressive to look at especially the backglass.. My first game actually lasted longer than I thought and was pretty easy to get the visor up for multi ball. The game punishes bad shots especially up the middle of the playfield and quick games were not uncommon. The game has multiple objectives to keep you on your toes but I was always trying to get the ball to the right flipper to make scoring shots.
Great sounds and easy rules but I did find it easy to get the visor up and score big points. 'Overall a great looking game and very fun to play.

Hard to find a better pin from the mid-80's than Pinbot! The game is the classic "keep you coming back for just one more game." For me, there are really 2 games in one: go for the high scores or go for the goal of advancing the planets all the way to the sun. The latter is more of a challenge, and tests your shot making skills. On a different note, I recently hooked this game (and the High Speed that is next to it) to a powered sub-woofer and it sounds amazing. For a mid-80's game, the music and sound is really outstanding.

A fun machine that is good for honing basic skills. Rule set is very simple as was common at the time. It is a challenging playfield - that's part of what makes it fun and a good trainer. A great machine for its era that is still fun. Try using the left flipper for drop target and ramp shots to hone your backhand and control the universe!

This is a classic for it's era. I have owned this pin for decades and it's a keeper. Great audio, light theme, plus lights on topper.
I like the 3 drop targets to advance planets and opening the visor and audio is very cool. When you get high game it has a great salute. My grandson less than 3 years old at the kitchen table with his other set of grand parents, he kept saying Circuits Activated. They couldn't figure it out until my daughter said that comes from the Pin Bot pinball game.

Very fun game with a basic ruleset. Getting the multiball is always fun and I really enjoy the music. Wouldn't like to own as it gets repetitive but worth a few plays when you do see it.

One of my favorite pins of all time because I remember it as one of the 1st pins that "interacted" with you while you played. I will always love this series, and hope to own the trilogy one day.

This was my first pin and it is still amazing almost a year later I still play it regularly and it gets a lot of attention when I have people over to the game room. Looking to add more pins to the collection soon but right now I dont foresee me getting rid of this guy.

All time classic (my rating kinda reflects a +1.0 due to nostalgia). Helped bring back pinball and still fun as heck today. Pops with led's.

One of my favorite late 80's games. The eyeball multiball was clever at the time and still holds up well, lot of different ways to accumulate scores and a lot of different shots. A lot of these are still out there and in pretty good shape.

I have a soft spot for this game because it's the first game I ever bought. For nostalgia it gets a 10. Compared to modern games it's lacking. But for the time and what it's job was at that time it's a knock out pin. This game was designed to take quarters and attract players and not be a tournament player game. It has a very simple rule set that can get old and is easy to complete. However it is a good training tool. The shots on this machine need to be made over and over, but they build skills you will need in other pinball games. Especially the backhand shot. A lot of people will tell you the left flipper is useless. Not so. You can backhand the ramp, target bank, and energy collect target under the ramp. Learning this shot has made backhanding any other game simple. Other knock is it's a drainer. Of course it is. That's what it was designed to do. The sling shots are brutal, and there is no ball save. But like I said this game should be looked at as a trainer for other games. If you can push Pin-Bot around and save balls then you will push Stern games around like they are paper weights. All in all classic legendary theme, art work, and design by Python and Oursler. If you have the room for one in your collection and like nostalgic pins then Pin-Bot is a must have.

If HS ushered in a new era of pinball, Pin*Bot was a game that definitely solidified its new roots. Space themes will do that every time. Without the character of Pin*Bot interacting with the player, I don't think we'd have seen Rudy. Pin*Bot remains the most prolific pin-character having appeared in many games over the years, so it speaks to this game's place in arcade culture. Lifting ramp and bagatelle are the stars of the game. A game that is very frustrating in its difficulty...yet keeps pulling you back for more.

I loved this game when it came out in the arcades. It's only downside is it is too easy.

I like the theme, but the game does not have much variety and gets a bit tiresome. Outlanes are brutal but that makes it extra challenging. It needs something else though to keep me coming back - more character and/or variety. I guess that's where Bride of Pinbot and Jackbot fit in. Fun for a little while but will pass on buying one.

This was a game that kept me playing pinball during the video game's heyday. It can be a brutal drain monster, but when you get it right, it's very satisfying.

Really loved this game. The speech is fantastic and the sounds are great. Music did not ever get annoying to me.

It quite obvious what you are supposed to do and very satisfying when you do it.

Awesome artwork on the playfield and backglass.
