Really fun game. Lots of toys and keeps you trying to achieve more and more.

Probably the most flowy Lawlor-layout including Hole in one shot via the jump ramp, one of the most satisfying shots in pinball.

Too bad there are numerous bugs in the software, even in the latest software revision. Scoring is a little unbalanced, since the multiball jackpot value can outweigh all other scoring opportunities.

Really really like this game. Between the gophers taunts, trying to hit the hole in one or the golf cart.....it's non-stop fun. The light show is fantastic in this pin. One of my faves!

How can you go wrong with gophers that pop up and taunt you? It's fun to smack those pests and try for that hole in one shot!

I don't care about golf, but enjoy the humor in this game. Fun to play. Strangely the kids don't like it too much though.

No Good Gofers is a blast to play but not always easy to find one around to play. It's lastability is top notch due to the gofers always cracking you up with there madness but most of all how can one get sick of going for "the best shot in pinball" the whole in one shot! Absolutely love this game and am so lucky, a dream come true to have found a really nice one that my family and friends can really enjoy. It's now easier than ever to show everyone that stops by for a game what they have been missing there whole life - that there is great fun in Pinball!

I've revised my rating because I believe the first one I played was not working properly. This is a fun game with funny call outs and such. I can see this as a fun pin to have at home once you understand the rules.

This is another over rated game. Admittedly, the machine I played had some major functional issues and needed leveling; but after reading so much about it, I was very disappointed. I do love the ramp shot to the upper deck, but that was about it. I thought Tee'd Off was much more fun.

UPDATE - time to update this review. No Good Gofers, or as I'm renaming it- Whack a Gofer

As of 01-18-15 I finally had a chance to play a healthy copy of this machine and enjoyed it very much. Great playfield design and theme with a solid rule-set. My only complaint is that it had a kind of a clunky, mechanical feel to it which would make me reluctant to own a copy.

Very interesting game, although it feels a little incomplete it has so much going for it, personally love the theme and depending on set up can be brutal.
The slam ramp is one of the great shots in pinball and never fall short of being satisfying when made.
A new more extensive code would see this machine rocket to top ten status if done well, I have owned TZ, TAF, RS and WW, they re all gone NGG is staying.

One of my favorite PLD games. Much better flow than most of his designs with a great theme, callouts, and good, silly fun. Keep in mind that this is not a very "deep" game with a lot of randomization due to the spinning disk and gophers popping up, but it is a great game to walk up to and play pinball for fun. Also, it has one of the best (if not the best) shots in all of pinball -- the slam ramp to the hole in one. One of the best feeling shots regardless if you make it in normal play or nail it for a super jackpot during multiball.

Love this game and just can't get enough of it. It's a challenging game but very rewarding when you get good at it with everything being progressive and can't forget about the hole in one shot!!! And SUUUUUPEEEER JAAAACKPOOOOT!!!!!!

Skill shot is VERY satisfying...getting that hole in one is hard to do! Lots of fun, my only complaint is what seems to be some really unbalanced scoring on this one. Goofy theme but done well.

I absolutely love NGG. I love the flow of hitting the gophers and then locking the balls for multiball. The hole in one shot is truly amazing. The art and sound I find above average, and I highly doubt this pin will ever leave my collection.
*EDIT* I've owned this pin twice and still think the hole in one shot is one of the coolest
shots in pinball. But, it's a pretty shallow game and didn't last too long.

Goofy humor and pinball (and beer) just go together. This one along with MM pulls the goofy humor off the best and the gameplay is great too. The Hole in One shot is amazing design because it is NOT that you need a perfect shot; you actually need randomness like a faster than normal speed coming through the inlane, or a funny bounce. The Super Jackpot for HIO while in multiball is one of the funniest DMD banners ever. What are all those wires down there?

A lot going on in this game but no big surprise from designer Pat Lawlor :-) I think the hole in one ramp is a great gimmick and it's a really rewarding shot to make.

I'll keep this game too. Youngsters love this game and the adults do too. Pinball geeks may not appreciate it as much..but if you have just the average friends / family over it is always a hit

wow, very fun, finally got to play the real deal and i rate this as one of the coolest games i have played i think the real backglass adds an excellent touch of class to the game. the gofers make this game, flow is near perfect.

The best shot in pinball where the launcher comes down and makes the ball fly into the air for a hole in one. This a great family oriented pinball that will make an avid golfer wet there pants. The silly gophers that pop out of the ramps. I just find the left side of the playfield to be a bit overcrowded but in general this game has alot to offer. A great vareity of shots that will make you want to kill those damn gopehrs before the game is over. All in all great fun.
