Most people never give this game a chance. NF is an interesting experiment for Steve Ritchie. Take the world of extreme sports & throw in elements of his best designs (BK2K, T2, & STTNG). This machine rips! Very fast game where you hardly get any breathing time because ball is in constant motion. Gives Johnny Mnemonic a run for his money. Love it or hate it art. Macho, obnoxious, & unapologetic. Flame cabinet really stands out. Antagonistic skull is fun. Upper playfield is a design marriage between BK2K and the supercharger from Getaway: HSII. The "jump shot" is a repeatable BK2K-ish loop where pinball goes airborne. Very addicting! Skull U-Turn (ala BK2K) shot is cool! Pop bumper-less shooter's game with easy to understand play. Includes similar modes from T2 & STTNG. STTNG-like ball launch options. Hard rockin' DCS music! Fun motorocross stunt course video mode. Rules could have been better. Possibly one of the easiest to get to mini-wizard modes ("No Limits"). If you are a decent pinball player, you might get bored of No Fear with its limited shots. The majority of ridiculous points rest on "Meet Your Maker"; which is fairly easy to advance thanks to low scoring modes that can be timed out. Lots of ramp posts in No Fear. Hit one of them and its over. Game is overly generous with Auto-Fire ball saves, but still unforgiving to flailers/novices.

The game has extremely nice flow however even on very hard settings the game is too easy. This is a flaw in the software. This should have been a much harder game.

Fast fun, and challenging. Great theme for men

An absolute blast to play, many many long shots, loops, ramps here, an excellent video mode, top half of playfield appears very cramed together, but take another look/play again, it all works extremely well, a very fast pace pinball.

Fast, flowing, skill shot, unforgiving game. Not for beginners, this one takes some time to learn, more time to master, but doesn't grow old. No Pop Bumpers takes some randomness out but the sequence of shot rewards and order of the Challenges provides variety and requires instant strategic shot adjustments. Talking Skull that tells you what to do and comments on how your doing is a fun feature, though it can break your concentration if you let it! Video mode is true to the theme, fun and can provide a moments rest for your wrists.

Lotta ramps and a fairly deep rule set mean it's pretty fun but it doesn't take long for the veneer in but it can't make up for that
