Great pin, have enjoyed it at all of the shows I've gone to. Used ones don't seem to come up too often locally; when one does I won't hesitate.

I have been playing this game most of the weekend and got to say, great sound, great game play- following the lights and great tracks

Tried it and not bad in my opinion.I can't rate sounds and callouts coz volume was too low to hear!! flippers were too weak as well.Anyway, this pin seems to have a nice potential , shots are well distributed on the 2 flippers and the left ramp gets 3 levels diverters. My only grip would be that drop target bank in the center of the playfield that breaks the flow. It's a pity imo. I will update later when i would have play more coz this machine makes me want to play again. that's a good sign.

I'm not one to pump ratings but his machine is grossly under rated. It deserves to be a top 50 machine and maybe higher. Setting aside the theme, if you are looking for a challenging, fast, fun game with a different layout then Mustang is a great choice and a bargain. Unlike Avengers were Gomez tried to be different and missed the mark (and I'm not an Avengers hater), Mustang's layout is unique and really works. There are no clunky shots and the geometry is clean. None of the shots, including the drops, are death traps, but you need to be in control because the ball just moves so fast and has some different bounces.

Like many, the theme has no appeal to me, but I picked up a heavily modded pro with custom music in a larger trade. Thought I'd flip it but have been thoroughly surprised. I played it on location a few times, but like most new Sterns it's hard to judge without putting in some time on a clean machine were you can hear the sounds. The modes, speech and cabinet art are actually very good and you can easily change the music. The playfield art is uninspired. The rules may not be extremely deep, but they are on par with plenty of highly rated Sterns and certainly won't get old quick.

I can see why this is a popular tournament game. If a challenging, fun game is your first priority, then you should take a hard look at Mustang. Other than art preference, the LE and Premium don't have much over the Pro which is only around $4k.

A little confusing on how to rack up points, I didn't play it long enough to really figure it out, but the machine didn't keep me interested or wanting more. Maybe it's because I'm a Camaro guy lol

I'm no revhead and this theme really didn't appeal to me at all but after giving it a go I really enjoyed Mustang. It's decent looking and it's fun to play, Ford enthusiasts would really love this one. If you're not a fan of the theme it's still worth checking out for the fast gameplay.

I love EMs and this game has an old school feel with drop targets, ramps, bumpers ... no need for bash toy. Fast fun game. Update: I have revised my score based on additional play time and digging into the rule set and code. This game has great code and a deep rule set. This is a long term keeper in my collection.

Really enjoying Mustang, especially the sound track!!!

I thought this game was just ok, not great. The drag race multiball was a plus. Overall this is a very attractive pin. My only complaint with the layout is the placement of the Mustang toy, the ball can hide behind that then come screaming down playfield for a quick drain.

Not my thing, we already have plenty of car themed pins so another is not really much of a surprise. This to me is a very weak release from Stern sitting smack bang between Star Trek which was great and The Walking Dead which I have not had a chance to play but people highly rate. Still a lot of shots and has some cool features like the 4 pop bumpers and spinout ramp like creech.

The game seems to play well, but the theme kills it for me. I hate to put so much weight on theme, but I just cant get into a game that doesn't appeal overall.

Really was surprised by this one, played a Pro; thought the flow was great, and had a lot of fun playing it, even though there were higher rated pins right next to it.

Great lighting, very bright playfield, which I liked...Would love to get a chance to play an LE version.

Great game, feels nice and smooth, the 6 muti ball gets crazy

I play Mustang often around Chicago barcades. I jus't can't get into a flow or have fun with this one. Kind of uninspired. Total package has a generic, sterile, and corporate feel. bright lighting is a plus, and the sound. Art and fun factor is lacking.

This pin is almost not fun. My office has this one and Metallica Pro, and this one gets played only because Metallica is broken all the time. It's hard to piece together what's happening in this one, the shots aren't super clear, I drain STDM trying to switch gears and probably should just stop doing that, but it's such a big feature right in the middle... Too many modes, too deep, for such a not fun game. If it was a little more shallow and straightforward I'd have more fun.

They just put one of these in my school's arcade and so I've been playing it every couple of days, just because it's the only pinball machine on campus. If it weren't for that, I would probably avoid pushing quarters into this machine. The sounds and music are excellent (great choice with The Beach Boys!), but this game just hasn't been interesting at all. Maybe it's because I need to invest a lot of time into reading the rules to see what actually gets you points on this table, but I shouldn't have to. I'm no pro player, but it seems like there's nowhere for the ball to go and it always ends up bouncing right off the Stang in the middle of the playfield and right back past the flippers or down one of the L/R alleys. Also not a fan of the artwork. I would've like it to have a bit more retro vibe, as the Mustang does have a pretty long history. Overall not impressed.

Very underrated, once you learn that the gears multi ball it becomes more interesting, gears = 3,4,5 and 6 ball multi and to get to the 5 and 6 gear you must hit the targets behind the gears letters....... looking forward to the new code update...... challenges are fun and lighting is pretty good.

Mustang is a very underrated game. I will admit that Stern didn't put all they had into the game . The layout is simple and I think it would probably appeal more to the non-pinball player because it is a easy game to figure out . The rules and code are not very deep. I think it is a fun game to play when i find it on location.

This is a really great underrated game. I placed it recently on location and I have already seen people play it who don't normally play pinball.

Easy to get into from the start, I liked the more back to basics feel of the machine, ie no upper playfield stuff just good old pinball.

Boring best describes this game. I can't give it a fair review because the ramp was broken and stayed up the whole time. Hated the sound track so much though that I don't really even care to try one with a working ramp.

I found this game at a local bar. Stuck a buck in for 1 game. I got 2 matches and 2 replays on top of that. After game 4 I was ready to leave and put very little effort into game 5... very sad. The playfield layout just doesn't do it for me. The left ramp was the only fun shot. On the positive side it is very bright and the LEDs look nice. It was nice to a Metallica pro and the color was much better. The game is not though. Definitely one of Stern's weaker games in a long time. I enjoyed Avengers more.

Well, can understand why so few LE's sold. It's not that it is a bad game but with so much choice around, this title adds nothing new. It has a real retro feel to it, only disguised by bright led's. It's fairly fun to play but not to own for sure. And how on earth did that whirlpool ramp get through the design process? I had a whole conversation with someone while the ball trundled round and round! Why not use the same as on CFTBL? Anyway a mediocre game at best and in these competitive times, Stern can't afford too many more lazily designed games.
