I think that I should probably start my ratings with the line that I have at least 20 to 100 games on the games I have rated (or in the case of TSPP, I have over 3000 games on that one). I will not rate a game after only a few plays or playing on a machine with obvious mechanical problems. I like the looks of Monster Bash! There I said it but I go rapidly downhill after that. Callouts are not bad and again I really like the artwork but it does nothing for me with over 50 games on it and it is not a game that draws me in or challenges me. I expect more from a pin than just a few minutes of happy flailing and my rating shows that. I am not a Bally/Williams basher(I even named my dog BALLY (the pinball puppy!)) I do not agree straight 10's with no reason or 1's across the board because of a hater. I like somethings about this game but it is too shallow and not exciting enough for me in my collection that is limited to 4 games.

Excellent game for all skill levels, very addictive, a true crowd pleaser! Not as deep as some games but the fun factor is over the top. Excellent execution of theme, toys, sounds, music and DMD graphics. A excellent late model W/B and a wonderful addition to any collection.

OK guys I gave this one a perfect 10! This is my dream game, I have a friend that has a beautiful MB in his collection and it gets all my attention. Beautiful machine....Phantom flip is just to damn neat. toys toys toys...the first time you get to the Monsters of Rock it will blow your mind. The one true piin that lives up to the hype. If I ever dropped major coin on a machine..this one would be it. I mean have you played this game! Just simply amazing

Iv only ever played this one time at a guy's house. But I was instantly into it. I thought the theme was kind of lame, really a monster band? But there is so much to do with all the universal monsters that I realized why its such a big deal.

This one actually lives up to the hype - it is a great game! The theme is beautifully executed, lots of toys that are interactively involved in the gameplay, engaging music, good dots and a clever sense of humor. As I rated each category, I realized that for MB, the whole really is greater than the sum of its parts. This game is fun!
On the negative side; it is just a real shame that the price has climbed so high. There are way too many fun games out there for thousands less. Thus, I will likely never own it - unless I stumble into a crazy deal.

One of the coolest games ever produced

Positives:
Damn, there is just so many cool toys. What a theme. Family and friends flock to this. Gameplay is fun.
Negatives:
Might be a bit too easy. Waaay too expensive. Cab peels more than other games of the same vintage. Just another fan layout when the toys are removed.
Recomendation:
Hard to say. If you have the stratch, why not. They don't get much better than this. If you are trying to build a collection of the best players, this might fall short.

It's a top ten pin for a reason. Rookies and veterans alike love playing this game!
It's got some great flow, with easily achievable goals, and a great sound/light show.
I owned this pin for many months, and really enjoyed playing it. It was my family's favorite pin in the collection. However, I found that in a collection as small as mine, it got somewhat repetitive and easy. Games ended up lasting a long time, and if I didn't start Monsters of Rock by ball 2, I was having a bad game.
If the machine was not worth as much money as it is, it would still be in my collection. But for the price this is going for, I will be able to add 2 or 3 more pins.
Would like to own again in the future if the right deal came along.

The puns in the dot matrix animations are probably my favorite part about this game. It's a fun pin that I could definitely play a few times every time I go to the Arcade. It's simply a great, easy to follow, well made, light-hearted pin.

I played this at pinball museum in Vegas and thought this was a blast to play, however I cannot buy older machines anymore as I no longer have someone to come to my home to fix. Otherwise I'd have this machine, great gameplay and theme.
