I recommend it. Nice old pin. It will flip the ball in a new direction you didn't expect and suddenly the ball can really get fast off the slingshots. The small flippers are difficult to master, it just takes a little different skills to play it. I like the 2 scoring dimensions of points and marbles earned and displayed in the back box. It is nearly impossible to get all 12 so the challenge never really ever goes away.

Great pinball ....i played marbles as a kid. So cool theme to me...its fun to try and try to get more targets to score more marbles...wish the middle had something anything....but love the art work and fun to play .....single player easy to keep working after 50 years

Same layout as GTB's Bowling Queen. Better scoring opportunities here than on Bowling Queen. In neither case do the backbox balls do anything other than provide some eye candy, they aren't tied to bonus like they are on a game like 300 or Super Soccer. Art is by far better on Bowling Queen, I've never liked Stenholm's artwork, to be honest. The marble theme does nothing to grab my attention. Nothing special here--a wedgehead that's neither exceptional or terrible.

Rather simple and ugly layout with an open playfield. Four outlanes and a wide flipper gap for those who are already tired of playing this one. It compares poorly to other Gottliebs of the era.

Mibs has an odd marble playing theme, but the one player aspect with backglass animation make it a pretty cool EM in my opinion. It definitely leads one to wonder what the designers were thinking on the randomness of theme and characters. It's really kind of charming.

Edit: Have a friend come over with his eight year old and he spent more time playing Mibs than any other machine. It made me re-evaluate.

Mibs is a game that looks good and kicks your butt in soooooo many ways.

The Pros:
A skills game that will work your nudging abilities to the max. Good shots and lots of action in the pops. The Bg animation is righteous! Lighting the pops and getting the ball back up the the top of the PF is lots of fun. Set up your pops and get your action on. Getting all the balls to light the speccial is NEVER easy. Work it!

The Cons:
The canyon between the flippers. Planning for four outs on the sides is against the idea of scoring points. So what is it? Points or replays? The girl in the middle of the middle of the PF looks completely unattractive.

The Takeaway:
A good game that was made for making money on the street. Gameplay is significantly different in the home environment. The eeeeety beeeeety fleeeepers better be strong enough to get the ball back to the top of the pf.

I enjoy this game quite a bit. I especially like the marbles that drop down into the backglass when you hit a lit target.
