How the story started This story starts on may 25th of 2013. Somebody placed a post on the Belgian flipperforum.be. The post was as follows: Hello people, I am Julian, a student and living in Wageningen (NL). I actually have a question about a pinball machine. Ligtning and how to play it!

Lightning. I had owned and fallen under the spell of Black Knight 2000 so I craved another double level game for my small collection. It had to be fast and challenging, like Williams Pharaoh but preferably with more familiar Bally circuitry. I had played Bally’s multi-level games but wasn’t convinced that they were what I wanted so I decided to search out a Stern Lightning. This game is still a lot of fun!

There's a lot going on with this table! You really need to be on your toes as the ball can get really fast and be down the middle before you know it. Having ramp shot skills will help your score a lot. Aside from that, the upper playfield has a lot of cool shots, but occasionally a fast pinball may knock a locked ball out of its hole (both ball locks are on the upper playfield).
