Elvis own this game at his house.. The King play alot of pinballs when he was on the road. He could of had any pinball he wanted and pick this one for Graceland. That tells you something. He had great taste.

Come on! I cant understand some of the poor ratings on Knockout! First of all, the King of Rock "Elvis Presley" owned this pin and is displayed in his Graceland Mansion! ART: The boxing theme is cool, interestingly there are no women on the backglass, plastics or playfield. But overall the artwork is cool, especially the boxers slugging it out. The Gameplay: If set to a flatter slope rate the game can be methodical and ripping into the spinners can become easy, which maybe for some of the poor ratings. However, if you increase the slope rate similar to typical Bally game of the late 70s or 80's the game takes on a completely different feel. It becomes a faster and harder to rip into the spinners. Also i recommend high tapping the power for added punch! So in short, if you set up Knockout correctly, it becomes a very fun game to play! If Elvis owned it, you know its got to be good!

Knockout is a fun game thats very simple, basically shoot the spinners and try to get down knockout alley. If your big on em pins this may be enough but it wasnt enough to hold my interest very long and is why im probably strickly ss pins from now on

A couple of satisfying spinner shots, and the drop through chicane lane. It's an OK game with not too much going on for it. When judged along side of other games from its era, it comes up average or below average.

Edit 2:
The sound you get when you rip the spinners makes these spinner shots probably the best feeling in all of EM pinball. Huge clicks and a bell for each rotation make shooting them very satisfying. Game is worth playing for this alone.

Edit:
Left target, right target, rip the spinners, advance the bonus to full, and try to light the double bonus light and drop through the chicane for 30,000 bonus points. Along the way light the special/extra ball lane.

I thought maybe after playing it a bunch of times I would change my mind, but it's still just mediocre at best.
