This (like LE) is the best game so far. It is very challenging and fast. The other play modes are fun, too.
After a few updates JP has become even better.

Fabulous pin, great playfield, great rules, some shoots are difficults but it gives more interest to the game... really really love it !!! For me the best Stern ever ! Bravo Mister Elwin !!!

Great game. Awesome second game by Elwin. This one is definitely better than the pro for me . I really like how there is a fidget spinner in this game. Having the ramp feed to the upper flipper. The Ball eating T. rex is awesome. Definitely one of my favorite pins.

I’ve owned the game for a few months and this game still has the just one more game feeling. The shots are just tough enough they all give satisfaction. The super skill shots make you skip a heart beat when going for the fourth shot and a six way combo is like winning the lottery. The callouts and movie integration could have been better but that’s licensing I guess. The lighting is a little too dark for an arcade scene so I always keep the room lights on rather than buy pinstadiums or something. This game seems pretty sensitive to tilt and leveling so dialing in the game is definitely important.

Fantastic game!! I never thought i would find a game i liked shooting better than Maiden but this one did it. I just get drawn into the game and whats going on, its a fantastic pinball adventure. The premium is definitely the way to go on this, i was torn for a long time trying to decide and had a huo prem pop up 20 minutes from me so I figured that was a sign and man was it. The raptor pit is extremely fun to shoot and the dino eating and thrashing my ball around, well whats a JP without that.

I've put in well over 100 games now and this one just might be the GOAT (still a little early to make that call). It's not the greatest theme in the world (to me), it's not the greatest theme integration either. It also does not have the best art package.

But what it does have is one of the best (if not the best) layouts in all of pinball. Great tight shots! It can be brutal, but that's also what makes it so rewarding when you are hitting your shots. Probably not the best game for pure beginners...but I could be wife just kicked my ass the other night and she NEVER plays pinball!

It also has fantastic and very deep rules. A lot to do and it will be many years before I see it all (if ever). Which is a good thing on a home game. So many different ways to attack it. This one will last a very long time in my collection...and that is not typical for me. Many, many games only lasted a couple years...AC/DC only lasted four months.

I only review games I own or have owned. This is my favorite newer stern period.
Cons- Call outs, artwork, and theme. Minor gripes really. I'm not a huge Jurassic Park fan, but the game is so good it rises above it.
Pros- basically everything. Challenging shots, but not too hard. Deep rules, but approachable from many angles. Wizard modes feel special. Map aspect and truck gives the player a level of decision making that is so refreshing. Even after getting to the final wizard mode I still want to replay and try new things which for me adds so much lastability compared to most machines. (Note artwork greatly effecting the score backglass especially)

Its so refreshing to see a uniquie layout. Love the shots and the way the jeep is utilized. So many great shots!

Highly recommend a pro or a premium. Do yourself and buy a JP!

This is really the best of both worlds for JP. Lots of interactivity, a great theme, and deep play.
It's the game of the year.

The game is a 10!! The best new pinball game on the market right now. This game will make you a better pinball player. Very challenging and fun. Amazing code and layout. Recommended for sure!!!

This is the most feature packed pinball I have played, let alone owned. I thought walking dead had a lot of modes, this game takes the cake on modes, leader boards, as well as shots. This isn't an easy to play game like Stern's new Elvira pin, it requires a bit of skill and a thick book of rules. Again, feature heavy packed pin. Love the T-rex modes as well as the animations on the LCD which are awesome, sad to say, when playing it, you miss a lot. The raptor multi ball is epic and adding the car/truck into other modes is great. I'm not a great pinball player, so to add access to the wizard mode at the start of the game is perfect so I can do other modes within the game. (had to take the glass off my stern BK to get it to the end to battle the Black Knight just to see the animations). Highly recommend this pin for novice and especially experts who want a deep pinball. The music and animations are top notch and the cabinet art work is superb, sadly most people won't see it in a lineup of pins.

More eye candy than the Pro, but a great playing game overall.

Excellent feel and game play. Requires skillfully executed shots to bring the best of the game out, otherwise it will be difficult to advance through some levels of the game. By far one of the best layouts in recent times. Game play is fun due to the many modes you can bring into the game while advancing through the basic theme of moving through the map and paddocks. I held off rating the game until I had at least 100 games played on it.

Overall don't let the lack of movie clips or actor call outs sway you away from this game as the play makes up for any of that, its that good it stands on its own. The T-Rex sounds and other sound integration works real well, hook up a powered sub woofer and wow!

This game is certain to break into the top 5 at some point, I think its that good!

Very fun game to play, with a lot of great shots and interesting rules. Some very good flow and combos.
Still a little confused on the rules as they are deep. But I do know that you are awarded for keeping the shots going vs slowing down your play. I am not a huge fan of some of the animations (ie the systems modes) but I think the intent is to be nostalgic to the movie. The callouts and voice are a little bit annoying too. But the fun and challenge factors are top notch.
This game really keeps you coming back.

I have played about 30 games on this. My rating could move up as I learn more.

Just recently had the chance to play JP and all I can say is WOW. Bunch of shots, pretty amazing call outs and modes. I found it super challenging, but not frustrating (If that makes any sense). I just kelp putting my dollar bills in!! My biggest issue with machine is the art work. I wish they took a more 1993 Jurassic Park theme approach. IMO its a little cartoony and there are some aspects of Jurassic World incorporated. The Newton ball shot is pretty cool, but I wish it was a wrangler instead of a truck. Long story short I want one!!! The T rex movements are awesome ... Now to decide if I can live with the Pro or go LE.

Good game. A little crowded and not easy to see (on the one I played) bc of lighting.

Fun tho. Theme is good.

Sits in between ghost busters and pirates (older one). this ranks in the middle of them.

Edit:. Played a different machine and rocked it. Got into it much more. Modes are fun and once you understand them its a much better game. However, it seemed to get very repetitive quickly and not much else to do.

The dang left ramp is about as far away as a ramp can get up in the left corner and it's a b*!ch to hit consistently. Bad news is it's how the entire game starts EVERY TIME. There are other things to do, but that left ramp is the big target and it's not the easiest to hit.

Lots of toys, lots of fun, even if it is the same thing over and over very quickly.

I like it. At first I wasn't too sure but once I had the T-Rex eat the ball a few times I was drawn in. The timers to get complete different things seems to run out on me a bit too often but that is probably because I am not playing it enough. Like everyone else, would love to get one and curious how the moving T-Rex head will last over the years.

JP Premium is an amazing game, easily one of my favorites. I love the premium especially for the art which is awesome. Of course, the "o" shot is tight, and annoying when you can't hit it. The game can be brutal, but is really fun. The raptor is awesome, the lock is much better on Premium and LE. T-rex, obviously is a cool mech, gotta love that guy. Love the left outlane animation!

Best new stern game I have played in awhile

The music is amazing, the game looks great and the dinosaur feature is a "must-own" for the money. Having said that, the game (for me) lacks good flow. It feels like there are an excessive number of "dead end" shots. . . the dinosaur pen, the jeep, the interesting up-ramp on the right. When playing, it seems like I keep hitting these corners that stop/kill the action and simply spit the ball back. For me, this makes the game not-so-fun and not as fulfilling as it should be. Granted, it is far far far superior to the Stern abomination called Stranger Things, but that's sort of a different story.

A consistently fun game to play as a group. Very smooth game with lots of shots.

This game is fantastic and I really hope to get one soon. The playfield is loaded with shots that feel good, and that T-Rex functionality upgrade on the premium makes a big difference.
