Typical Gottlieb EM play, nothing to exciting. Closed in bumper area was the main feature of the playfield which didn't provide to much excitement. Not much to do here.

Tough game. But one that is adjusted well is fun to play. Has many cool features, moving gates, kickback etc... My kids love it.

Poor all around.

Artwork is dreadful. A rare miss from Gordon Morison. The gameplay is dreadful, with only the spinner leading into a single pop bumper area being the only "fun" shot available to a player. Tying these two unique features together in one shot really is putting all eggs in one basket. And it really doesn't work to make gameplay meaningful. All of these Gottlieb multi-player games seem clunky and bare compared to the wedgeheads they were making alongside them (the game was remade as a wedge, with add-a-ball function, which I guess alters the rules to make them a little more meaningful...)

Avoid the 2- and 4-Players versions of this game.

The orbit shot is challenging, the spinner is easy. The art on the table and glass are what entertains me most. Tough to get past 50k, but you get there enough to keep you coming back. You get bang for buck on this title.

It sure is nice to look at but man does it not play well. Make the spinner shot to get to the pop bumper and it often rolls straight back down the drain. The rollovers are not fun to shoot at and the bonus multiplier is only for the last ball which makes it a one-ball game. There is a nice kickback and gate to return the ball to the plunger but over all it feels like a design that was never completed.

Jungle and all of it's 4player/add a ball siblings are great game to look at. The play leaves much to be desired.

The Pros:
The BG is HILARIOUS! All of those animals with their tongues sticking out. The look on Cheeta's face as well as Tarzan's is comic genius! Our fair maiden in the pith helmet is completely clueless making the steroetype even funnier. The colors on this table are fantastic and everything looks great.

The Pros:
There are 3 shots on this table. The orbits and the spinner. That's it. The special lanes on the sides are purely made by chance. This may possibly the worst playing Gottleib from the early 70's.

The Takeaway:
Take a look to admire the art package and keep on walking.

Basic pinball from 1972. Not many good features on playfield. At least it has a spinner. Lighting only avg. Back glass art work is great. Cabinet artwork is a dud. Classic sounds typical of e-m pinball machines from early-to-mid 70's.
