Johnny Mnemonic was my second working game. It's one of those games you love to hate and hate to love. A better game than most give it credit for. Good art, nothing too exciting, but really cool if you're into "cyberpunk" things. Sound is a mixed bag... good, intense music meets kinda poorly done voice calls. Some are funny, some are strange, most are just weird and repetitive. The playfield design is kind of cool, but the Glove and Matrix is a love it or hate it toy... it slows the game WAY down, but it basically IS the strategy of the game, and is just SO cool to look at! The rules are good, solid design, while I understand you can abuse the spinner for points for me the point of the game was always to get to the wizard mode, Power Down, which is pretty cool. Good game, worthy of a chance for sure, and a great bang for your pinball buck. I traded mine off but plan to grab another one someday.
