Best Stern pin (that I've played). The game has the best FLOW of any game I've ever played. The layout and shots are great and has enough uniqueness to make it different from other games. Personally, I'm not a fan of heavy-metal so the theme is not for me but everything else so well done that this is still one of my favorite games and if it is in a line up, I will play it more than other games. It is that well done.

What an amazing machine! Only downside for me is not the biggest fan of iron maiden and only ten songs gets a bit repetitive.

Great game. I am not a IM band fan but stern knocked it out of the park with the game play.

Good game overall. Great design except shots from 4th upper flipper that i don’t like
Hate theme and no toy. The game needs perfect tweaks to play well. (Some mechs issues)

One of my favorite Stem games ... period. Just don't get sick of it. The flow of playfield and the Iron Maiden animations are standouts for me.

Been searching for a while for this pin. We chose a hard rocker, that we weren't "burnt out" on as far as a bands music. (10 games in to ACD, Aerosmith, MET - I love them all, but we'd be tired. Not so here!) It's not a game for the weak, and we're by far still learning to play, but if you want a true pinball game - that you have to play (and hear great music along the way!) - this is it!

Had this game for a few months. The more I played it the more I didn't like it.

I already rated the Pro version, played previously. I now owned a Premium since few weeks.
The pin is awesome: powerful, nervous, complex, with a variety of easy and difficult shots (the two ramps in particular).
The flow is very satisfying and the layout never seen before (as far as I know). The game modes are various and very deep. The "Fear of the Dark" light show is awesome, with the flipper turning to dark with the red leds. The Trooper multiball is impressive, with the charge of the 3 balls. Above all, the art work is great, even if a bit too egyptian for the Premium while the modes are not all related to Egypt.

To list the (small) weaknesses: the auto plunger is very hard to adjust and it is a mess to allow the ball moving all the loop. This could ruin the effect of the Trooper mode (but not the gameplay of course). The sarcophagus was, for me, very complicate to adjust, with uneven ball detection. I am also missing a very cool toy, although there are the sarcophagus physical lock and the Underworld ramp. Last, the animations are so-so. But the fun remains very high, and we all keep playing on an on.
Obviously, liking or not Iron Maiden music is also something to consider... Personally I'm a fan.

Good variety of shots. Ramps are hard to hit consistently. Shooting loops is fun and dangerous!
Great theme. I love Iron Maiden’s music and the pin has been themed very well. The ramp to hit the 3 ring target is a fantastic addition to the game play.

I love this game and it would be a 10 out of 10 for me but the fact that I can never get my trooper multi ball or any multiball to work due to the ball launch never wanting to line up right is really annoying.

So I finally bought an IMDN prem after only playing the pro a hand full of times. This game is one of THE BEST pins ever made from purely a gameplay perspective. The shot layout is GENIOUS. If you can master dropping the back flippers while cradling the front during multiball you can absolutely CRUSH jackpots. If you don’t learn this technique you’ll be blocking your own shots with the rear flippers. This is the ONLY pin I’ve ever played where it’s absolutely crucial to push yourself to learn this specific flipper technique and I LOVE that. This game has made me a more focused and strategic player and I love THAT. The whole art package is cool. Premium LE is the way to go. I’ll include one negative: I very much dislike the animations and display font. It stinks. The callouts could be better as well. But this game absolutely NAILS all of the most important aspects of pinball in my opinion. The elements that suffer do not detract from the fact that this is GREAT PINBALL.

This was a cool game, but had shots I was just struggling with to continue to have fun. It's similar to the problem I have with JJP games. One cool thing is the you can bring this to your house and doesn't matter if you've heard of the band because it looks like an egyptian theme.

Wasn't big on the Iron Maiden name going into it, but the gameplay makes this pin an all time great. And the songs actually start to grow on you. Tons of shots, with some unique and difficult ones. The more you play and understand the ruleset, the more interesting and challenging it becomes. Highly recommended.

Best game of the past 20 years. There’s always something to shoot for. Game never gets old and will be considered a classic for years to come.

This pin has some of the best flow of any game I have ever played. The shots and speed of the ball going around the loops are very satisfying. It plays fast and the shots are not gimmicky. Do not care for the band, but the pin overcomes the band.

IM is an amazing game! The flow on all the shots is very well designed and using 4 flippers runs the risk of trying to add gimmicks that may not work and don't belong. With IM, they were able to make all of the flippers work and rewarding.

The thing that makes this game so much fun is the speed and flow that can be achieved via your pure shots. So many games slow the shots down and limit the continuation and flow with stops. IM does not do this. I am not a fan of IM music, but the game itself overcomes the theme that I personally do not care for.

This game is amazing and deserves high marks. Look forward to many more Keith Designs!

This Game is absolutely amazing. The music, the shout outs (awesome), the lighting. It's hard to find a better pinball machine that does everything so well. Most things are subjective but this game has everything you need for a fun time again and again. I like the art better on the pro cabinet by far.

I am a huge Maiden fan so the theme and music are obviously getting great scores from me. This game shoots wonderfully. Very deep code, lots of modes, and nearly infinite ways to rack up a good score. Call outs are loud, forceful, and funny. Animations could be improved on but get a bonus point for Elwin walking down the forest in "Fear of the Dark." Playfield lighting can be pretty dim if you play in the dark, this is the only game I own where I considered pinstadiums. I have owned this game for 16 months and I still play it daily. Elwin knocked this out of the park!
