After about 50 games, it's definitely alot more fun that after 2 or 3. It's a nice installment of the roller coaster/theme park trilogy, if you ask me. The long ramp that loops around is a bit annoying but other than that, pretty "ok". A good starter machine or slot filler but not long-term single machine for a homeowner.

Ive just recently played a few games on this and was less than impressed. The sounds and music are horrible and repetative. I do like the ferris wheels and the super long ramp but it just looks and plays cheap. There is very little to do/shoot at and I couldnt see myself ever owning this game.

My least favorite of the Roller Coaster Trilogy. A so-so layout with not much to do, though the hurricane shot is alright.

REALLY long ramp with the Hurricane shot which is interesting. Juggler is kinda hidden so you dont get to enjoy it. Thought the playfield was too dark. In the trilogy of roller coaster pins this is the lowest rated in my opinion. Not nearly as fun.

Artwork is also below par...looks cheap...as if a high school student did it as a project.

Actually this game surprised me after owning it for some time now. I'm playing the game without the juggler so no chance at the jackpot but really shocked how smooth this game is. Dunk the dummy is a little irritating but adds a heckler to the game which is fun to watch when someone else is playing. nice flow with the ramps and the loop de loop is definitely different than most pins. Overall super impressed with this carnival themed pinball game

Can be a fun and challenging game, but one of the worst themes i've seen

the ugliest corniest game ive seen to date. you cant appreciate the hideousness of this machine until it is in your own home. the cabinet artwork doesn't match the playfield artwork, it looks like two different themes. the music and sounds are cheesy, except when its clown time, that music is soooo cheesy that you cant help but laugh. had one for a couple months, it was like a redheaded stepchild to me. its sort of fun if you can look past the creepy clown staring at you with its legs spread wide open.

Very beautiful Flipper, perhaps however more beautiful to see that to play.Ideal for the one who looks for a lot of ramps and few bumperses.

For those who don't know, Hurricane is the third game in a series of three roller coaster themed games. Comet, Cyclone, Hurricane. Hurricane is the DMD title in the three, although it doesn't have video mode which is a bit disappointing. It plays fast and without a wide open playfield the game is very challenging. There is a wide variety of shots to make, strategy is needed to get a high score. You won't be hitting the ball randomly and coming away with millions of points. This game has some of the most fun ramps I have seen so far. The big looping hurricane ramp that goes past the flippers and returns to the left flipper is satisfying to hit. The backglass has a rotating disc to provide some animation effect. There are two spinning Ferris wheels and when the ball goes through them and returns down the hurricane ramp you have just enough time to take a swig of beer and prepare your next shot. There is a three ball multi ball as well which is nice, and very helpful for racking up the points. I think this game is great and has lasted in my collection because of it's difficulty.

Hurriccane caught my eye the first time I played it. The game is bright, colorful and completes the rollercoaster trilogy. In my opinion, it is the worst of the 3 games as it suffers from a ruleset that could be SOOOOO much better.

The Pros:
The game looks great and the spinning rollercoaster on the BG draws you in. You'd better play like you mean it, or your PALACE letters will get stolen. The hurricane looping ramp is a cool piece of plastic.

The Cons:
Yet another 1 shot game from Barry and Python... ugh. Hurricane ramp over and over and over and over and... zzzzzz. Bad Cats and The Bride of Pinbot got busy one night... and this is their red headed step child. Unfortunately, the 1 shot ruleset will always mean that this game is not a serious one for players. Dots on this game look like they are on or off with no shades in the animations. GI/T2 were the first williams dmd games and the dots looked much better than on this deck. A double ferris wheel is twice as crummy as the one on Cyclone.

The Takeaway:
One more for the kiddies. Otherwise it is a ramp rape fest.

Yikes. This game is terrible. No flow. Bad toys. There are much older games with more going on than this. The back glass promises more than the game delivers.

I own a perfect Diamond Plate version. Great for family. Love the roller coaster theme. We used to drive twenty miles for pizza just to play Hurricane. Don't believe the negative comments about Hurricane. It's fun, unique, and deep!
My biggest complaint is the "dunk the dummy shot". It's necessary to dunk the dummy to complete two out of three modes. The dummy is set low on the playfield and is protected by super-thick rubber posts. The game calls out for you to dunk the dummy a ton! Most of the time a shot to the dummy will result in a center drain. A cheap trick that keeps this one from being a top pin.

I liked Hurricane a lot. I strongly considered buying the one I played, but it seemed a little too easy at times. Lots of cool shots, though. Give it a shot if you have the chance.

Good ramps and I love the ferris wheel. Table is just plain fun.

Didnt even realize they made a 3rd roller coaster themed one until I saw this game. Pretty fun to play, with lots going on. the double ferris wheel is an interesting idea, sure it slows down the game some, but thats just a perfect time to take a few swigs of your beer/beverage. I liked this one a lot. Seems like a good one if you like cyclone/comet type games.

Prefer Cyclone as this is clearly a rehash of that one. The shots are simple except the dunk the dummy which can result in a drain. Would not own it though I do not hate to play it when I see it out somewhere

Owned the game. It can get quick. A drain monster. After you get a good multi ball run you see the hook. Flipped it for a Tomcat.

This machine is interesting. It left me cold on account of the huge circular ramps and not a lot of openness. However, a real bang for your buck machine. Artwork is incredible. I almost would like it better without a DMD. The DMD cheapens the overall design and attention to ramps and spinning backglass artwork. Played at Seattle Pinball Museum.

The last the the trilogy, and hopefully there will be no more! Ugly boring things!

This must be the fastest pinball I've played, because of this it's pretty challenging. The main ramp is fun, the ferris wheel holds things up a bit during normal play but is very useful during multiball to get rid of a ball or two for a few seconds. Overall real fun pin.....

A real disappointment after the simple addictiveness of Cyclone.

The wheel breaks up play and ruins a potentially good game
