Nice enough looking game, it's hard to get a playing card theme wrong. But there's just nothing to shoot at here. Every shot is up the sides at those opposing top corner standups and from there you hope the ball will careen over to the side rollover switch, or the pops will be merciful and bounce you back into the rollover lanes, even though that almost never happens. And that's about it, that's your game. It can be pretty lively if you play a nice copy, but even then it's hard not to get tired of it after a few plays.

Hi-Lo Ace. Owned two of them because I was going to retheme. But once I started playing, I actually enjoyed the game.

Symmetrical layout was nice, but really could not get into the artwork. Too cute for me, I guess.

Should be an inexpensive game to get and make it a first pin. Otherwise, play it and enjoy the ride while you can.

Somehow scored a working, very nice Hi Lo Ace on CL for $100! Great EM game. I always prefer card themed EMs and this is not even a Gottlieb, but a Bally, which is interesting. Artwork is serviceable but I really like the way the PF lights up with each card you tag. Light up the high cards, or the low cards, and the Ace, and score the Special. Hence the name....

It's a keeper for me, unless I sell it for something else!

Bags of fun can be had from this Bally card themed game. The poor artwork and green theme disappoints, but I recall playing it for hours in an arcade in Victoria in London. Not a classic, not a beauty, but a fun game
