Pretty fun game. Maybe the worst music of all time, no variation at all. Some callouts, but not many, a few multiballs, but not too much scoring outside of multiball. Nice art package.

I go mad trying to stack the multiple multiballs. A lot of fun minus strategic gameplay. the ramps are swizzle mcsweet. only 1 complaint the ball plops out of Godzillas mouth.

Stack those multiballs!!! This has to be the best Sega era pin by far. Way way better game then most people realize. It's not deep but it's straight forward and fun in spades.

Godzilla was one of the last games that Sega made. All things considered, it's not a bad deck at all.

The Pros:
Lots of shots and lots of multiball. That Big Ol' Zilla-head is AWESOME! When flippers are as strong as they should be the ball flies around all the orbit and ramp shots like a flash of lighting. Lots of green ramps, lights and toys make this game come together very very nicely.
If there was a game that could use a shaker it's this one, and it uses it quite well.

The Cons:
The depth of the game is lacking, but without the benefit of Lyman Sheats and his Monster Bash programming skills. Find one if you can. The artwork on the PF is muddy. Sounds are not so hot.

The Takeaway:
A better game than most would give it credit for. This game made the PAPA A bank in 2012 for good reason. It's an entertaining game that players can dig their teeth into. Gitcher' self to a nice copy of this deck and enjoy it.

Awesome low production game. Basically the 'Multiball Madness' part of Medieval ,but with stackable MBs' even after you start a MB. Great tourney game too!

If I was asked to describe this game in one word I would say Godzilla is Abysmal. This game is easily the worst pinball machine I have played.

The playfield is uninspired. Theres one shot in particular on the left where you might expect an orbit to be but instead of returning the ball to the right side of the playfield, or something interesting at least, it drops into to the shooter lane... Ive never seen this and it seems like laziness on the part of the designers more than anything.

Then there's the big Godzilla "Toy" in the center of the playfield that sits over some targets I wouldn't care about hitting. I thought hey, JP has a cool toy with a dinosaur and this is kinda dinosaurish, maybe it does something cool. You get to Godzilla by shooting the right ramp and then nothing, it just sorta falls out of his mouth. Bluuughhhargh, or whatever sound a Godzilla makes when its just lying there motionless and coughs up a hairball.

To make matters worse there's this horrible, HORRRRIBLE, music going on in the background that makes you want to stick a screwdriver in your ears. This is the first pin I wanted to just walk away from but someone else might have ended up playing another game next to this one and killed themselves or someone else after being driven insane by the sewage coming from Godzilla's speakers. I decided to finish my game instead. The one redeeming quality of Godzilla is that it ends and luckly the local arcade is really stingy when it comes to match replays. Whatever destructive, laser beam shooting, human devouring, Japanese city destroying rampage Godzilla has performed in the movies is nothing in comparison to the twisted abomination that is Godzilla Pinball.

Game plays well and looks good. Haven't enough games to comment on depth of the ruleset but the shots were a bit repetitive.

The rumbler is fun but that is about it for fun with this stinker.

Think the playfield looks great with Godzilla coming over the top of the buildings - shame the gameplay doesn't match it!

Simple but surprisingly good game from Sega. Godzilla plays a lot like T2. Lots of very long shots & dangerous upper-playfield ricochet area with pops above. Strong theming. Scaley green ramps look sweet (look sweeter in a LED'd machine)! Godzilla appears to bust through the playfield, alongside his "Zilla Breath" feature. Magnets below the playfield, simulate Godzilla fire-breathing on your pinball, as it moves it around. Lots of multiball with a ruleset letting you stack them. Decent DMD animations, lightshow, captive ball, shaker motor (makes sense for this license), Mathew Broderick sound-alike VOX, & shockingly good music for a Sega. Art package on Godzilla is good overall (translite, cabinet, & playfield). Very good game for novices, but lacks modes for more advanced players. Kids will probably like Godzilla over the other pins. With stronger software, Godzilla could have really been something. Overall though, not a bad Sega. Rare game to find, so play one if you can find one.

Not a good game.the audio annoying after a few plays. As with a lot of sega/DE games play seems to be dominated by same shots. Too many big plastics. Shaker ok. The one I played gave out many free games and i left it with about 3 after playing for a couple of hours!

Perhaps Segas best game. Better than most new Sterns.
It would have been awesome for the Godzilla head to have some sort of animation but it is what it is.
I'm thinking of putting a laser inside the head to spout a ruby red stream out his mouth and tie it into an appropriate insert light circuit. Think STTNG laser cannons.
Perhaps the most complex underfield magnet system other than Twister and the shaker works very well in the theme.
Backglass is one of the best but just a fluorescent tube behind it. Look for the "Easter Eggs".
Pretty rare game too.
