GOAT. You know it. I know it. This game does not grow stale. You might've walked up the first time thinking, "Godzilla? Really? But the machine looks cool. Let's put in $1." Then...Wow!

The shots are perfection. The flow is perfection. The code is nearing perfection. The toys/gimmicks are all super cool and fun. The quality is outstanding. A TON of variety in the shots to keep you playing. Lighting is amazing because it's a show. You want to play another game.

Theme? Well. Godzilla is campy cool, but then Stern cranked it to the 10s. When I was staring at all the cabinet art I initially preferred the Pro, but the Premium art has really grown on me. I'm probably biased. I think the backbox looks amazing but the sideart of the main cabinet could've been a little better. The pro wins the side art, but I actually like the King Ghidorah/Godzilla backglass/backbox sideart of the Premium. Playfield is a dream of art.

There's a lot to do in this pin. And it takes a lot to learn it. I've had it 8 months and am still unlocking its secrets. I'm not a wizard or even close, but I'd say that's probably it's only drawback is time to learn/understand the real game because it is DEEP. Which is also a positive. That said, even real novices can fall in love with the overall package and not completely understand the rules set.

It will be difficult for any pin to unseat this one as a better game. Unless there's some magical theme that can replicate the profound magic that occured here when lightning struck this pin...it may be a VERY LONG, LONG, LONG Time to be dethroned. Godzilla. King of Monsters. Now King of Pinball Wizards.

BOLTED TO THE FLOOR.

Super easy to just jump in and start playing. Easy to follow and understand and obtain some distance in the game. I wish they did a little more with the lighting and details along the back, but overall, this is easily becoming one of my favorites.

This game has the magic; beautiful art, fun theme, good humor, amazing layout. It's a worthy successor to the #1 throne that Medieval Madness held for decades. One is left to wonder, what could top this?

The play is fun and smooth, the theme's integration is excellent, and the rules are deep and satisfying. I was initially attracted to the theme, but fell in love with the gameplay. Even if you don't like the theme, I recommend trying this table -- its high rank is justified!

I've played both the Pro and Premium and I prefer the Premium with its toys, even though they do slow down the play somewhat. The Pro is still exceptional, so it comes down to personal preference and budget.

I got in on Godzilla kind of late, but since mine arrived about a month ago, it has gotten a lot of play by the whole family. When people go to play a game, this is usually the first one turned on and it stays pretty busy for quite a while. The shots are great, lots of flow when you get loops, ramps, etc. chained together. The various modes are different enough to hold interest. In the Premium/LE the moving building adds a lot to the ramp shots by changing where the ball returns, so strategy is a bit different for the various modes. I prefer the Mechagodzilla shot on the Premium/LE as well versus the Pro. I'm not sure how this game could be improved upon - it is really solid in every aspect the way it is.

This is pretty much the perfect pinball machine for people who love pinball. I really can't add much to other reviews. It's all been said. I'm a ramp guy and these are awesome ramps and shots. I wouldn't change a thing.

Godzilla Premium has a fun and challenging playfield design (rotating ramp, sinking building, falling bridge, 2 interesting magnets) and a really well-integrated theme with good video, music, animation, call-outs, sound effects and a lot of interesting modes. It would be difficult for any game to match the complete package that Godzilla has.

In addition, though I've played 250 games and scored more than one billion points, there are still a bunch of modes that I have not yet seen so this speaks to the depth of the code on this game.

Managed to score a Premium after thinking I'd have to settle for a Pro. After about a week it's easily the best pin I've ever had in my house. My favorite features in no particular order:

I LOVE the skill shots after adding the anti rattle mod. Plunging to the left spinner lane never gets old and I enjoy how you can adjust on the fly for the Destruction Jackpot loop if you miss and hit the upper flipper instead. And hitting the left return lane with a nothing but net skill shot is a great feeling.

The placement of the scoop takes some getting used to. It's not an easy shot at my skill level but backhanding it is very rewarding and I like that it's not front and center where it would impact flow (I'm speaking to you Lawlor).

The Mecha Godzilla area is great fun and definitely the thing I would miss most on the Pro. He's fun to bash and the tail whip lane behind him makes for an interesting ball path.

Being an average player I like how the layout seems forgiving. A missed shot to the right ramp can be deadly but the geometry of everything else seems designed to stop cheap drains (like the 'chin' below the Maser Cannon deflecting what might otherwise be a side drain). The single bumper provides just enough danger and I like how not having a cluster frees up space.

I'll play Doctor Who all day long just for the looping playfield multiplier shot so I definitely enjoy the repeatable upper loop off the top flipper and the inner loop around the building gives me a bit of ToM (another favorite of mine) vibes. My machine is leveled and this might contribute to my lack of issues with the Godzilla Multiball dump. My balls feed the tip of the left flipper without modding the building.

I haven't played everything under the sun so I'm not sure how common the Oxygen Destroyer mechanic is but I really enjoy the do or die aspect that separates it from other hurry ups. I've had a number of buzzer beater fist pumping moments.

The sound and theme is great. Combative themes are a must for me. If you have HBO Max a ton of the movies are available and watching them definitely helps you get into the spirit of the game. I love the Mothra save call out.

My one complaint would be the need for more informative call outs during monster battles. I enjoy fighting Ebirah and ripping the spinners but it can be difficult to look up at the scoreboard to see how many spins you have left. I suppose I need to pay more attention to what the inserts are showing. I also lowered the power on the scoop eject a bit. Seemed a bit cheap that it could ride up the left flipper and drain down the left drain...

In my opinion this is the all time greatest machine ever created. It is pure perfection. I grew up playing all the classic, golden era Bally Williams and have always owned and gravitated towards them. I’m not a stern fan in general, but I have to give credit where credit is due… I’ll say it again, this is the best all around pinball experience money can buy as of 2023.

Godzilla isn't my dream theme by any strectch, but this game has helped me learn to appreciate it. I love games with deep rule sets and I'm still learning all of the objectives (particularly maximizing multipliers) of this game. I particularly like the music during Mechagodzilla multiball and the multiple music secelction during Godzilla multi-ball.

All I know is that I greatly enjoy playing this game...which is the most important thing for me. I plan to own this machine for years to come.

Premium is the way to go! Loved the toys and falling building. Super smooth shots. While I'm not a big fan of the campy style I'll always be a fan of Godzilla. A bit of a hard pin at times. The rules seem very in-depth. Maybe in time I'll learn it and find my shots.

It's Godzilla and it plays like a dream. Building goes up and down, bridge collapses, mechagodzilla has a strong magnetic to hold balls. A classic game forever for sure

Colourful artwork, fun gameplay and cool toys. Love the multiple ways to get a multiball including the Drake building, Mechagodzilla who catches the ball, and the bridge that collapses. The game has three fun spinners, and three ramps. A fantastic design that keeps me coming back to play again.

A fantastic game. An all time great. I agree with all the positives everyone has said regarding all aspects of the game. The layout & flow are among the best ever. However for me this is also a little bit of a negative as ball times were too long & made for a bad multi-player game because I could keep hitting shots & combos then multiball. People don't enjoy waiting for each other for too long!

This is my struggle today with many modern games. I love the depth & journey you can go on. Yet I also have a life & I often have to quit games early if I'm having a good one or maybe even start to get bored. But this is more my own issues with my lifestyle & my ADD! For some this type of game is a positive. I had my AIQ prem next to godzilla & that kinda scratches the same itch but a little tougher & I love the theme. Has flow like godzilla too. Since I'm not very wealthy & only room for 4 games unfortunately godzilla had to go. I just want to be clear that it wasn't because it wasn't a great game. Just not the best fit for me at the moment. For me for now (& I may change my mind) I feel like variation is best. Perfect lineup may be an elwin game, a jjp, a challenging bally/Williams or early stern dmd, & of course a classic early solid state game.

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said about this machine.... It's an absolute blast to play and a must own in your lineup.

I purchased mine from someone when prices were outrageous and overpaid, but I'm so glad I did because it's worth every penny and then some.

It's very challenging and Stern keeps updating the code to make it better and better. It's also really well built, I haven't had a single issue with mine and there's so much going on in the machine that I'm surprised it keeps up with the abuse.

I like it, but don’t love it. Ball times are way too long on standard set up, and I’m not a fan of the voice work. Mechs are great, but along with the video stuff make the game a bit too stop and go for me (less so on the pro). Love the theme, and can see why folks love the game, but all in all I have more fun shooting Avengers, and find JP code more satisfying, because you really have to earn your progress in a way that you just don’t on GZ. Realize I’m scoring this on the low side, but I went back to see if I could boost anything and all my ratings felt in line with my actual experience of the game.

Good game , Started out fun, callouts and music became to repetitive for me. Also the videos to repetitive. The machine I had often had stuck balls in three different spots, sometimes the ball search would get them but most times it was a danger or tilt to the rescue. Definitely not number one in my book.

This team is just amazing. I like my ball locks and the building lock on this game is my favorite. I am admittedly a KE fan and I think this game has the best third flipper shots of any game he has done yet. The loops on this game are amazing, the building bash toy/diverter/ball lock is probably the best overall mech in pinball and I am not a huge toy person but this one is extremely fun. I think the Mechagodzilla is cool but it's nothing too special and I really couldn't care less one way or the other about the bridge. There is so much to do in this game and Zombie Yeti did another amazing job on the art package as the cabinet and backglass are phenomenal. Like I said just another great game by team Elwin.
