I would love be to add this game to my collection sometime. This game keeps me coming back. I love how colorful it is and you can't go wrong with the ghostbusters theme.

While Ghostbusters has a great theme and an adventurously decorated playfield, the game play is just slightly above average. The shots are fine, and the Slimer toy and pop-up Scaleri Brothers drops (a la Cactus Canyon / similar to the trolls in Medieval Madness, etc.) add variety to a somewhat limited playfield design. The only way to accomplish much on this table is to fire up the multiball and rack up some decent points. Activating MB is a matter of hitting the left ramp three times, and then the scores seem to skyrocket (disproportionately, it seems). Pretty to look at and nostalgic for the right target age group, this isn't a loser from Stern - but it's not a winner in several ways either. I'd like to spend more time on this table because I feel like I'm missing something. But, for now, after 50 or so games, this machine is just slightly above average, so not worth it MIB sticker price. Also, it tends to be a bit of a drain monster, so bring a sack of quarters to get a good feel for it.

I'd recommend finding one on location and playing it for a long while before purchasing it.

This game has a TON of design flaws. Scoops reject a lot, ramps often clunky and the ball can fly out of the track. Steep ramp often rejects. You could drive a car between the flippers. The theme is spot on, love the call outs. Animations and music seek lack luster compared to the art. The art is hands down one if not the best in pinball. I was really disappointed. It's another relatable theme pin by stern with poor design aspects and max profits in mind.

This machine is great. Lasted longer than most of my games. Many complaints unwarranted. Scoops that go down the middle are easily fixed by adjusting coil power setting. Flipper gap is fine and doesn't prevent me from having long ball times. Outlanes are difficult but not a deal breaker. This game is tough in a great way. Right ramp is unique, tight, and satisfying, same with left orbit. Art, call outs, music, and lighting are some of the best in pinball. So confused by some of the strange reviews on here.

The first new (post-2007) Stern that I've really liked. The theme, art, and music are just awesome. The gameplay is very challenging and very addictive. The layout is great and the rules are fun. I wish the modes were randomized and the outlanes had some rubber on them, but it's still one of Stern's best.

First off, I love the artwork. nice work getting away from clipart again.
for my taste, I hate the LEDs the keep blinding me. Not fun. The gameplay is OK I was expecting more for some reason. Hope the can fix this with the code. it was early code but no clear direction on what to do or what to hit. I was really thinking of making this my first NIB but I will keep looking...

This game should be such a good game... But why does the flippers are so far apart?
It makes this game so frustrated...
I get one 4 years at home and decide to trade it.
The theme and music are really good, but this gap between the flippers waste the game...
In definitive, it was the game at home i played less.

Played on location... was disappointed. Good theme, great artwork but found the game lacking. Now I understand why there are so many machines for sale, just after ppl have purchased NIB.

Can't get into this game. I can see why some may enjoy it but I've played all three variations and don't find myself wanting more.
The outlanes are a bit tough combined with the wide flipper gap and ball time can be too short to get deep into modes. Add the library hole and train thing trying to shoot it down the middle just adds up to lots of swearing.

Jul 23/18: Rating updated. Either better code or a better understanding on my end but the machine isn't all bad. Next to a bank of other decent games it still isn't near the top for me.

I love the theme and the music. I would have loved to play more but the machine has a fatal flaw. The scoop on the left side would drain the ball every single time so you could never get a game going. I did my best to keep it out of the scoop, but sooner or later it would go in and when it shoots it back out--right down the middle. Not sure how this fatal flaw could have made it through design, but it drained 50% of my balls that way. Lots of air balls too. Too bad, looked like it could be fun. Glad I didn't buy it!

Wow this is a fun game and I'd like to have one. I played one on site this evening and found it funner than Attack from Mars. The theme, music, toys, and nostalgia makes this one of my favorite pins.

The PF is too busy, air balls and the out-lane drains are terrible. A ball shouldn't jump the rail to the out-lane. The theme is decent but the whole artwork is like a bad cartoon. I like the sounds and some features but its isn't a fun game to play.

I so wanted to love this game but just feels and plays bad; the code is just very uninspired and the layout is cool, but the designer should have fixed all the air balls and wierd physics on this game before release. Wanted to love this game so bad and have tried it several different times. Just can't get into it because of uninspired code and the physics of the game and it's flaws. Dwight crushed it on code on GOT, but with this title it just falls flat code wise. Way too much storage facility multiball also.

I loved ghost busters as a kid when the movie came out and this pin brings it back to life. I haven't played more than a dozen or so games, but can't wait to run into another one

i am new to this website with this being my first post, i own metallica pro, star trek pro, walking dead pro and most recently, ghost busters pro. i love all my games but i feel ghost busters needs the most in updates. aside from that, i get to many cheap drains and my ball tends to go in the air too much. makes me feel like the machine will get messed up too quickly, the drop shots seem to need to be back handed to get them down. however, i feel there is amazing potential for this game. it is very challenging and well worth playing . better to own than pay a buck a play as that play probably won't last long.

Clunky and the game has some ridiculous SDTM shots.

Owning a GBLE, I played the GB pro sometimes. Great machines, great flow, off course I like the GBLE/Premium more regarding the toys, ectogoggles, slimer mech etc. Great machine pro or premium, can't go wrong.

Game looks awesome.... I judt think there is way to much going on. And for a casual pinball who is just trying to have fun, there are too many rules and modes.

I think I like it because of the theme more than anything else. Pin isn't as interesting as other Stern tables but this plays like an old school 90s table. Also if you're a fan of NYC, I think you gotta have this.

Great looking game. I'm not a ghostbusters movie fan, but the game is very good. This has a lot going on for a pro version. I would say the premium does add quite a bit more. But still, the pro version plays well and has a lot of variation. A much better game than a lot of pinballs released the last few years. Animations are very good.

Very difficult game. Lost of drains. But fun and fast if you like to flow. The LE model is much better, but this is still a super fun game. The sound and lights are killer. I love the light show when you get super jackpot or multi ball.

I keep trying with this game but it just doesn't work. The game is too linear and just gets old trying to do the same things that are hard to do in part because of cheap drains. The music also gets a bit old for me too. It just feels rushed like it needed some more time to make the shots work right. Great artwork though.
