A very good Gottlieb from this era. Great playfield layout, awesome music and simple rules: complete four body parts by collecting letters. Left ramp for arms, right ramp for legs, orbits for brain, ABC lanes for body. You can also collect letters for each part by shooting the drop target bank in order (or the vari-target). After each completion two-ball multiball is available from one of the ramps and you also build your playfield multiplier (in multiball mode your playfield x is doubled). If you manage to collect all parts, you'll have a chance to expose robot by hitting the vari-target all the way back. After this the game starts over.

This is an interesting game, lasted in my collection for a couple of years. It was not in the best of shape and I was always chasing odd issues with it. I am sure if I found one in better shape or did all the system 80 fixes to it, it would have lasted longer. Good luck finding ramps if you have cracked ones...

I won't buy another (can only fit so many), but would definitely drop some quarters in it if found out in the wild. It's a pretty fun pin overall. Fairly simple, but to get to the end and have the monster (or whatever that thing is) revealed was always a hoot, and the translight was always a conversation starter as well :)

When I was a child this one was in a cafe and I loved it. 20 years later it is still one of the best Gottliebs ever. To bad that not much poeple know this pinball.

Genesis is a way underrated game. Mostly due to the lack of fully functioning examples. Get one working 100% and you'll be trying to get lifeforce every day!
