Refurbished a Funhouse and added the 2.0 kit. Easy and plug and play. (Also added Comets Leds) The kit from Pedretti is a must have in my opinion. Greats sound and graphics. The big and small screens make the difference. Fun to play the native version also, but this feels really outdated compered with the Nightmare version. Great sound and humor. Love this version. And it really adds to the great playfield layout with the hidden places and trapdoor. Maybe the "steps" element needs some more contribution to incorporate in the gameplay.

Overall a valuable and must have addition to any Funhous (1.0)

In my first comment I was in love with the machine, everything I so cool , but after a week everything became annoying and repetitive ... I sold it ...

Funhouse 2.0 takes the incredible Pat Lawlor design and gives it the JJP treatment.

The Pros:
It's funhouse with more detailed and interesting rules. Replace the 6 lights above the mode hole with a Dialed in LCD screen... and give the alphanumeric display a color DMD LCD display update... YAS! The (new) rules are good and are still being worked on.

The Cons:
Some of the simplicity and the BALANCE of the older ruleset is gone. Work multiball? Or go for the mirror wizard frenzy mode? More is more, but not necessarily better...

The Takeaway:
A great addition to one of the best system 11 games ever made. I believe the add-on is reversible, so the risk to your Funhouse game is minimal. A new twist on an old classic. This package came out a few months after I sold my Funhouse. Oh well.

The game plays okay. It does feel like a spiritual successor to the original. My biggest complaint on it is that there's a future when a lot of the Flasher start going and they go for a little bit long and if you have led that can make you a little sick and difficult to even concentrate on the playing field. I would probably place something other than cool White on those or even just plain incandescent bulbs
