Great pin if you have kids but challenging enough for adults. One of my first owned DMDs, wish I still had one.

Very nice game for kids and beginners. Might be a blockbuster in arcade rooms, less in pubs. For experts will be boring very quickly. Artwork and sounds are fantastic. The playfield is a little bit dark, but can be improved with LED-s if somebody is ready to break away from the original concept.

The Flintstones... JT's got some original pf ideas. The game should shine, but gets the "meh" after a few plays. This game should be a great game, but read on...

The Pros:
Cool shots and lower PF diverters by the flippers. The Multiball start sequence is really creative. PF art and buildings are very well done. Ramp shots are smooth and this game "flows" better than any of the other JT designs. The twinkle toes sound before Fred bowls and the FLINTSTONE!!! when you drain are really funny.

The Cons:
Worst O'Connor B/W BG ever. That was so painful to type... Now for the real shocker. This game is a bore. Rules that should reward your skillful play are, well... uninspired. The Jackpots are weighted too heavily in this design. Does his team playtest these games with people who have little pinball playing experience? I understand pinball trying to attract the casual player, but this game is too easy to keep a real player's interest.

Takeaway:
A fun game, not a serious player unless rules are set to super nasty and the outlanes are made super wide. A great game for the little kiddies or an introduction to the hobby. Sometimes that is what pinball is for. Fun for people other than the pinheads who take the game way too seriously. Like... me.

Great game. Love the automatic ramp diverters and the Dino crane gimmick. Modes are cool and mutliball is great. My only real complaint with the game is lack of final wizard mode.

Great fun for the whole family. Fast flowing and should be rated in the top 50 .

I really wish this was based on the cartoon, but nevertheless it is a really fun and well themed game. All aspects such as the bowling, bedrock, bronco and many more are used.

The game has good lastability for me in the gameroom. I did have to upgrade and add some spotlights since it is dark. the PF glows in parts so those type of lights are awesome!

Loved this game when I was a kid and hooked on it since I bought one a few months ago. Yes the rules are simple and the jackpot/super jackpot deliver too many points but it is just tons of fun! I have an IJ which I also love, but the FS is the favorite machine to almost everyone who comes to play. This is one of the most underrated machines of all time in my opinion, the three (stackable) multiballs are great and hitting that super jackpot just makes my day.

While I don't really enjoy the theme of the pin, I will admit the Flintstones was pretty fun to play. It's not one I plan on owning someday though.

Fun, simple game with some really cool features such as the ramp returns which can divert the ball down along the apron to the opposite inlane. Artwork is ok but unfortunately is based on the movies so you have to look at Rosie and Goodman. Sounds and dots are good. Gameplay is fun but a little simple. That left ramp is sooo easy to make it is almost impossible to miss it, however I have not been able to make the super jackpot lane yet. The bowling shot is dangerous and often results in a SDTM return. Lots of fun to play on location but wouldn't own this unless I had a large collection.

very underrated pin. Its a hell of fun and the shots are very challenging (multiple ramp shots / loops, bowling). The artwork is fantastic (plastic bedrock houses etc...) and capture the movie spirit very well. Only the cabinet is a bit dark and empty for my taste. The sounds and music are excellend with many known funny sound fx from the original series (I LOVE this bowling "tippppple" sound)

Here is another pin that plays great and would be ranked higher if the theme was better like the real Flintstones. I liked this game so much I converted it to the real Flintstones by changing the translite and adding a few Flintstones charactors. What a differance this game is when you don't have to look at Rosie O'Donnell's face.
The game plays great. I like the smart ramps and the bowling aspect of this game. Creative ideas used well together. It has great cartoon-like sounds and would be a hit with kids as well as adults. A really colorful machine but I wish it was lit better. Why didn't they light the houses? Lighting is used sparingly and is barely enough. Led's do wonders for this game. It just looks fantastic. If your not a fan of the cartoon or the cartoon style, you probably won't like it. I think it's great.

I just couldn't get into The Flintstones. It's got some cool features on the playfield with the bowling targets & the ramp diverters (which can also be a curse if they accidentally drain your ball). However, the rest of the game (shot layout, rules, art, sounds) just felt tiresome & annoying after extended plays.

It surprised me this game thought I would hate it but I actually love this game. Great flow and ramp shots, and although it looks a bit tacky it is really a fun game. Value for money I think its a decent game.

Enjoyed playing the game for a while, but it soon became boring and I realised I was only playing it because it was a pinball.

All the buildings and plastics make playing this game feel like your playing in a little Flinstones world. The bowling is a neat idea and is somewhat a game inside a game. I really enjoy the looping ramp shots, too. The game seemed to get boring fast though as there's only a few modes and the wizard mode seemed lacking. It's great in short bursts and I always throw a game on one when I see them on location or at a friend's house. However, when I owned this machine, it quickly lost it's luster and was rarely played.

This is a decent game for all the family, good bang for the buck, underrated IMO and better than a some of the titles higher up the list, this machine is fun to play, light hearted and has some nice shots, not played it enough to write an in-depth review but enough to know that I am keeping mine for the time being or until it has to be moved to make space for something better (pretty good as it is competing against some heavy weights in my collection). I would recommend this machine to anyone just getting into pinball, it is good cheap fun.

Biggest problem with this game is it is based on the movie rather than the TV show. Thus, I have to dock the rating on art and theme. I love how the ramps can feed either flipper. Ingenious! Bowling is a lot of fun and is a game by itself. Rules are a bit shallow, though it has a couple fun modes. I like the center jackpot shot, but would prefer that it also had a standard orbit shot. Fun pin that could have been considerably better.

This is a fun game. Played one that had been completely shopped and it looked like new and played beautifully. Didn't manage a great score but really enjoyed the machine.

Pretty fun game. Kids like it can get long ball times which can be fun. Setting this one with a high angle helps the flow quite a bit.

The more I play this game the more I like it. It is good fun and a very solid design that has lasted well on site.
