Great sound!!! Fantastic effect ball behind flipper!!!! very fun||

The theme is what keeps this pin out of the top reaches of Pinside's ratings. However the gameplay is excellent. John Trudeau added some unique features that make this pin a lot of fun. Layout is excellent. Sound, speech and overall audio quality is as good as you can get for the era.

Again, if the theme isn't for you, the pin is a hard sell. But for my era (40-something), and someone who grew up when The Flintstones, in their original 1960's production run was still airing, it's a great combination of quirky nostalgia and challenging gameplay.

And if you feel so compelled, add the alternate translite (original Flintstones or R-rated versions); I was planning to ... then chose to just keep my HUO original. I got over my Rosie O'Donnell prejudice quickly.

Seriously underated. Lots of fun, great play.

Very under rated machine. Rosie O'donnell is about the worst thing you could do to any pinball back glass. I would rather it just be a plain mirror or a picture of a freeway. She is really awful. Other than that, the game is really fun to play for all ages and skill level.

While the "rock crusher" and brontosaurus are obvious toys, the thing that makes this game is the gates that allow the ball to go behind the flippers and come up to whichever flipper the game wants it to be at.
The modes are a bit ho-hum, but there are a number of them when you combine the left-standup ones with the ramp modes. Getting to the mystery mode is no easy task! (even if that mode itself isn't that amazing)
Screams for the owner to mod it and add GI. Doing so solves one of its biggest issues.
The slings are tiny and if you have all fresh rubber and suberbands on the flippers, the game can be intense and unforgiving. It's a kid's theme, but a game that can challenge everyone. And bonus points for John Goodman and Rick Moranis doing custom voice work for it!!!
Regardless of what you have going on, bowling is always an option, and always a viable path to multiball.

Very fun pin. Circle ramp around flippers is cool

Ok game, theme would have been better based on the original cartoon and not the horrid movies

Was a fun game to play, but def couldn't put this in my game room with that porker O'Donnell on it. .......Shame it was based off a rubbish film and not the Cartoon we all grew up watching.

This game is soooooo much fun. It's not just the bowling either. Smart ramps multiball. Three extra mini modes along with the 4 reg modes plus wizard mode and bronto awards. Tough Super Jackpot shot. The more time you put into this pin the more fun it is.

Played more than STLE in my house. That is how fun this game is! As many others will mention, changing out the art work to the cartoon alternative makes it so much more asthetically pleasing.

Wish it was based on the old Flintstones cartoon.

FUN.....looks much better with an alternate translite. SORRY Rosie! Even though you are my new neighbor In Sarasota!!! yep! she's here!

This game was probably made for new kids who hadn't known what pinball was until now. In that aspect, it was a success. I'm disappointed with the minimal amount of modes, they could've put in so much more. I also don't like the fact it was based on the movie more than the cartoon. Still, a good pin by John Trudeau. Perfect to put next to your CFTBL.

Kinda boring, thought I wanted one. Till I played it. Game play has a lack of flow, not alot to do. Just bowling. Don't like the split theme. Part cartoon part movie. Cartoon great. Movie lame. Horrible colors. Popeye pinball much more fun and exciting. so is Rocky and Bullwinkle. Side by side no comparison. POPEYE winner!

I thought it was decent when it was released but i don't enjoy it much these days. Theme is cool and the artwork does the job. The plastic on the playfield should have been used for more toys or something. Good for some games.

The music in this pin is not my favorite and the only reason why I would never own one.
That does NOT make it a bad pin. Overall, a good pin. Good shots, great rules and easy to follow. I won't mention the movie.

Love the Flintstones and love this game. So much to do. Go bowling, shoot for brontosaurus awards. Shoot the center shot for more awards. Ramp combos and modes along with the time machine make for a really nice overall game. Great job JD and staff.

Just missing boring real quick a real snooze fest with repetitive shots, sad cause I like the Flintstones.

Great game with some very unique shots. The "smart" ramps are very awesome and get everyone the first time. The sounds get somewhat grating after a time, when you are in a mode and it keeps repeating the same loud call out over and over. The game itself executes greatly, however. The theme would have been much more enjoyable as the HB cartoon as opposed to the lame-o movie.

Good Game for a Good Price!

Simply just a fun pin all around pin! Yes the alternate trans and playfield sticker is a must as well as lighting. Over all everyone loves and seems to be staying put! Great music and call outs too!

I've played a lot of different FLINTSTONES at a lot of different locations over the years & it has delivered EVERY TIME! Visually this game separates itself from the pack with it's unique apron & Bedrock houses lining the cabinet walls. On top of EXCELLENT DOTS, LOTS TO DO at both ends of the PF and a REALLY NICE SOUND PACKAGE...this game's main strength is FUNESS!! It's just lots & lots of fun! The only shortcoming for me was that the art package revolved around the FLINTSTONES MOVIE characters - not the CARTOON characters I loved as a kid! So when I was able to get an alternate CARTOON translite & playfield decal...FLINTSTONES moved from my WISH LIST to my COLLECTION!

A cool pin, having the chance to keep it at home for a few weeks is a pleasant surprise!

- Family friendly theme
- nice music, animation and callouts
- good flow, lots of shots including with the third flipper

- unbalanced scoring - Jackpot is too high
- so so backglass artwork

Definitely a sleeper game.
It has some very unique elements you don't see too often - especially the smart ramps that feed the ball back around the flippers. And the dinosaur crane is quite clever and cool looking too - especially if you add the LED mod into in to make it really glow. (Side note- this is a very easy game to modify/customize in different ways.)
The playfield lighting is dark so adding spotlights definitely helps.

And as for the art - just add the cartoon translite and decal to the playfield. Looks AMAZING!

I really enjoy how this game flows smoothly and maintains an energetic, upbeat tone.
Something tells me that the flintstones will be in my lineup for a long time.

Very nice game, family friendly and you start smiling while playing. Fun for the whole family but with the time ... a little boring. But always good for a nice game ... Jabadabaduuu
