A beautiful game!!! A great theme. The artwork is amazing!!! I like the way the game shoots. Cool shots. Playfield is nice. A lot less clear for sure. I don’t anticipate any issues. Code is ok however, with Lyman on the job it will be great!!!

Played the game at Expo. Fairly disappointed initially, but it grew on me a bit with subsequent plays. Another example of Stern cutting corners and opening the door for other manufacturers to knock them off their pedestal. The floating head graphics are pretty lame. As one of the other comments pointed out, the video feels like Munsters; but worse. The base model of the game is not worth $7K or whatever the price point is. Cool art work and cool theme, but that's about it. Not enough innovation to merit owning the game. Jurassic Park is the much better option.

As an owner of Scared Stiff and former owner of EATPM I must admit I was a little disappointed when pictures of the game were first shown. Didn't think it captured the magic of the first two. Boy was I wrong. Although it doesn't have the flashy ramps or Boogie men of the first two. It makes up with Elvira herself in video and game play. Also there were a few images on the artwork that threw me off at first. But seeing the game in person it really goes well together. I don't own the game but helped a friend dial his LE in. Then spent the day playing. Shots are really good with a wide open layout. At .86 code it was easy to follow what was going on and where to shoot. Fun factor and enjoyment of game play are very high on this one. It's like a cross between MM and SS with a little BM66 thrown in. I'll probably end up getting one in the next year or two.

Elvira LE is a beautiful looking pin from head to heal, shoots very smoothly nice and open layout very interactive with the call outs has plenty to due with many multiballs to follow, clean direction of shots feels alot like BM66 with a hint of AFM. Elvira is at infancy stage and I can only imagine with Lyman behind the code its only going to be another great contender.

I went in not wanting to like this pin. Stepped up to it hit the start button and even with .84 code, found myself starting another game time after time. The ramps are smooth and the game overall is very appealing. The code will be tweaked probably for the next year but what is available is quite adequate for enjoying the theme. the gar goils hit the glass but can be adjusted. The vuk is not always accurate to hit a target across the playfield, sometimes weak but need to try other ones to compare. The video integration is a lot of fun. Each mini mode has it's own soundtrack and feel. The house is a lot of fun too. Is it a fan layout, maybe but what's wrong with that. Some of the best games that we compare all new games to deserve to have new pins copy or use similar layouts that keep us coming back for more. It will get better and probably end up a top 20 game in time.

This machine is in its infancy however, as is, it is a extremely fun and challenging game to play...love the art, the layout, the theme and the "gotta come back for more" factor. My ratings are based on the .84 code...this machine will mature into an awesome playing experience. I will return to update my comments/ratings as the code matures.

At this stage, as good as this title is getting, at .92, I can see no reason to change my rating...

Played a half-dozen or so games and enjoyed it very much. Being a haunt and horror fan and a big fan of EATPM and SS, I’m predisposed to liking this pin. The playfield has a good layout with cool toys and gimmicks. Like BKSoR the code and the rules make good use of those toys, gimmicks and features for an overall cohesive design to the game, making it easy work to get engaged in gameplay without being distracted by trying to figure out what it is you are actually supposed to do as the player.

Elvira and her campy schtick can be a lot of fun and initially works well here. But the video and animations look low budget and hastily done. Hopefully future code updates will improve upon this. While the artwork is better than the other Elvira pins, it still feel like a rehash of those other pins and unoriginal. Stern is really on a roll this year producing solid and entertaining games and this is no exception. I am looking forward to many more plays on this pin and hope that Stern keeps up the good work.

There is no doubt, this is a classic! A true successor to the series. Wow! Even at this early stage of development it is better than anything of recent memory. The ruleset harkens back to the Bally days, and that’s a beautiful thing. The theme, gameplay and content are all amazing. This is going to be a real collectors item. Pick up an LE while you still can

Its early but i was an early adopter of Batman 66 and i waited out the great code shortages. I tell people this game shoots better than batman 66 by far. Imagine medival madness with batman 66 code. I will say if you dont enjoy elvira or campy humor the theme wont connect but the code and shots will. Watch for this game to break top 10 and pass deadpool

This is one beautiful and fun game . Stern continues to impress . Shots are fun . Elvira integration great . Modes I have played were fun . Multiballs fairly easy to achieve and rules easy to follow . Incorporated spinner from Scared Stiff into the video . I like the campy movies and modes . The music also adds to the atmosphere and fun experience .
A home run from Stern for me.

And no playfield issues I can see so far .

Elvira is good and it will become great with time. The early code limits the total experience but that will change soon. Let’s set the record straight - This game was made for the fans. It isn’t going to have a wide appeal like a Star Wars or Jurassic Park. Anyone that is bashing the design team is crazy. The people on this project are the same folks that did Scared Stiff and the Party Monsters. It is most likely the best team in pinball. Those two other titles are firmly planted on the top 100 list and this one will be as well. Pinball is known for its art. There are multiple books documenting all the great pinball art out there. I always get mad when the pinball companies get lazy and go with photographs on the backglass, playfield or plastics. It is easy and cheap. Real pinball art is the backbone of pinball and this game is covered in it head to toe. The shots are super smooth and there are a ton of them. I’m not a big fan of Stern pins but I love Bally. This game plays like a Bally. It even has a subway which is unheard of on Stern titles.
