Good machine but it could have used just a "wee" bit of extra flair.

Pros:
- The theme. I'm sure that Elvira is as recognizable now as she was in the late 80s, so it's timeless. Nice speech and music passage too (I dare you to try and get out the multiball jackpot theme out of your head)
- Great art package that reminds me a lot of the late Python Anghelo's art (RIP)
- All kinds of bonuses to collect with effort required
- Crazy, twisting ramps...

Cons:
- ...that unbalance the game. I'm sorry but I don't see much fun here. Literally all I did one game was loop the Monster Slide while collecting ELVIRA letters and the Million.
- The game is fun if you ignore the unbalanced ramps, but just keep in mind the bonuses are much less than the potential Monster Slide / Party Punch values
- Ball lock kickout can become weak and ruin your game
- HEAD FOR THE GIRLSROOM

Another nostalgic one for me. There was an Elvira and the Party Monster's in my University Union building which I would skip class to play. Remembered the cheesy dancing rubber monsters, the groovy/sexy organ music, and of course the sultry Elvira in both drawn form and voice form.

Cheesy, campy horror theme. I could see myself picking one of these up. It's a helluva fun pin. Plus it's liable to give ya a woody just listening to it.

I love this game! This is the first pin I ever purchased and I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. It's just so quirky and fun that it keeps me coming back again and again!

Not as fun as scared stiff, but elvira just works as a pinball theme!

I do find the game drains a few too many balls for my liking but its the biggest hit in our house. The artwork on the playfield and backglass is great and looks amazing with led's installed. You cant agrue with this game getting the most attention/plays, its a great overall theme and very enjoyable to play. When CPR does a new playfield, even though mines 7/10 I'll be all in!

This is a classic machine that is a keeper. This is a great theme that probably inspired games like MB in it's campyness. Rule set is not too easy, and Skull and Ramp shots are fun. Going for the 4 Mil. in 20 seconds is rewarding if you can hit it in time. Won't be letting go of mine anytime soon!

Tons o' Fun. A little goofy, but guess what, so was Elvira. Several different modes and plenty of shots across the playfield. Great art package as well. I would put some LEDs under the inserts to brighten it up a bit.

This is a machine that wasn't even on my "want" list, but when a friend was selling one for a fair price, I decided to pick it up... I'm glad i did....

Funny and an easily understandable rule set make this one a great game. It's also quite hard, with a large number of balls draining through the difficult outlanes....

The ramps are fun and easy to hit, and the boogie bonus is good for a laugh.

Update:
Downside for me, and what might eventually keep it from staying in my collection:

There is only one good flow shot in the game, which is the water slide shot - and even that has the steel exit hole which makes the ball spin around for a random time before dropping it into the return lane. The right most lane heads to the pops, the right ramp shot stops in the VUK before getting sent along a habitrail to the flipper, the center shot locks in a the boogie bonus knock out, and then gets sent to the pops, and the left lane is the lock hole.

If you're not a fan of stop and go, this pin might not be for you, and of all the pins I own, this one is the most stop/go. Even though I'm not a fan of this style, I still like the game for some reason.

Just recently picked one up, and just love it. The art IMO is superb. The gameplay is relatively fast. The music and the callouts are great. When you achieve multiball, the lightshow is spectacular. When LED'd properly she looks fantastic. Very fun multiplayer game. I'm a sucker for the horror type themed games, this has a Halloween feel to it. Overall, I just love it. Can't recommend it enough. Getting harder to find too..

this game has the same sorta layout as indy 500 w/o the orbit shot which i think this table would've benifited from. otherwise a good all around game that does suffer from unbalanced scoring that i and even my wife were able to give it a good flogging and walked away leaving credits on it so i wouldn't own one

If it wasn't for Scared Stiff, I'd probably rate this one higher just because I love Elvira--but SS is a much superior game. I'd only be interested in this one in perfect condition and at a deal too good to pass up (and then pretend I really had a SS). Anything Elvira is cool--a box of Elvira tissues would be cool--but this pin is such a drain monster I think my initial rating is the right one--Scared Stiff is everything this one should have been.

One I'm playing in the pizza parlor next to where I work is ball sucking drain monster! I just can't get the flow, if there is one, figured out. A challenging occasional player but not to own. PS "Let's Boogie Boys thump thump thump" gets very annoying very fast!
