Devil's dare is a great pin. One you will remember. I played that one years / decades ago, and was so happy to find another one at a Pin show. Instant recollection... Fast play for a wide body and inspiring / scary backglass. A keeper.

Edit: after playing it again several times, some of the magic faded. Downgraded accordingly.

This is a very under rated game !! It is challenging and the rule sets keep you coming back for more. The sounds, voices, all of it are hilarious !

Me and my buddy play the heck outta this thing !! My best purchase for $1000 and its in excellent shape.

Not a big fan of old widebodies because they are slow but this one isn't too bad in that regard. Sounds are typical old school pinball with the space explosion sounds but not annoying. Art isn't bad and it is well lit. My biggest complaint is the upper right flipper which is pretty much useless and seems like it was placed as an afterthought.

I remember this game... almost forgot about it until I saw it on here. This was a pretty decent game for Gotlieb (not a G fan myself). I enjoyed playing this game every time I had to work on it. There were a handful of Gotlieb's I liked, this being one of them.

Devil's dare is the first name that comes in my mind when U say pinball!!! I have spend lot of time and money on this machine when I was a young boy and I have never forget this diabolic backglass and gameplay. 26 years later Devil's dare reach my home and the magic still working. My son, 6 years old, also takes a lot of pleasure shooting the numerous drop targets and trying to reach the multiball mode. Devil's dare is often under rated! Perhaps the fault is on others Gottlieb's games from this era such as "black hole" and "hauted house". But I swear the gameplay the ruleset and the difficulty are really better thought and measured on that. Take care and "Enter this lair on a devil's dare".
