All my reviews are going to follow a simple formula for those reading.
Number of shots to make - Pro's - Con's - Must Have Mods - What To Look For When Buying

Number of shots - 8 - high

Pro's:
* Wonderful flow on ramps, orbits and combos
* Race track integration fantastic, a great unique toy
* Rev mode before multiball a fun interaction
* Fantastic theme tie in if you’re a car buff
* 1 ball save per game a great feature
* Unique kickback through exhaust

Cons:
* If the engine and race track don’t work properly the game is ruined
* Music can grate after a while
* Not a deep ruleset

Must Have Mods: (Note I will not include things like LED's, Color DMD, Invisiglass or Speaker Upgrades unless it's really badly needed)
* Gear knob plunger rod and shooter plate combo
* Light up speaker panel looks great on this one
* Led strips under race track
* Engine cover mod

What To Look For When Buying
* That both the engine and race track work as they should
* LT-5 ramp area is complete and unbroken
* Wear around the pit hole
* Various lift gates function properly
* Ramp condition, particularly Skid Pad as it’s unobtainable

This game really captures the corvette car theme very well, it’s a fast exciting game very underrated I have sold higher ranking machines I found boring compared to the corvette. It’s also a very attractive machine with great features like the lt5 motor and the drag strip definitely a machine for the more experienced player and corvette enthusiast

I consider this the third decent car race game from the nineties. The other two beeing I500 and Getaway.

The gameplay is actually very good and quite addictive. The shots are fast and offer a greater variety than Getaway with clever programming and different scoring strategies. As with any other good racing-game there is a great "one-more-game"-feel to this pinball table.

There are however also a few things about Corvette that puts it in clear second position compared to Getaway.
It is a rather ugly game. That goes for both playfield, cab and backglass. Uninspired and dull.
The art from Dan Hughes, who also did I500 and a few more obscure titles, is a disappointment. Unfortunately this is also is true for the main playfield features; the ramps and the shaker. It all looks like dimestore toys - and not in a good way…..
This let-down is not helped by the fact that many of those upper playfield structures are blocking the view of the ball play.

The most positive feature among the playfield gadgets is a matchbox-sized racetrack with two cars that compete on the right side. Making the lit shoots will advance your car and get you more points.

Further weak points that keep me from giving this game higher rating is the uninspired lighting and lack of more spectacular flasher effects. For a 1994 game this feels a little tame in that respect. The sound package is acceptable, but nothing above average and certainly a tad onesided.

Summary: ugly and poorly lit (which maybe is a good thing :-), but fast, fun and addictive.

I love playing this game. Being a car guy it’s a fun theme and a very challenging game with some trick shots chasing down certain orders of shots too

Have owned this one for some time now. The multiple shot options on this machine makes it have lastability in a smaller collection.

If your a Corvette or racing fan then you will like this game. It’s fast fast fast. The LT5 engine toy and lock is pretty cool but not spectacular and is the key to getting jackpots from the upper left flipper. Never get tired of the racing drag strip. Start a race, make shots, and collect the different corvettes. The loops are super fast and making shots and combos are the key to scoring high and being in control on this game. It will test your flipper accuracy and timing and it’s in papa tournaments for a good reason.

I have played quite a few pins and this is always one that I want to play all the time. I ended up picking one up myself. I don't love corvettes, but am a gear head, and can totally appreciate what it is. a Gear head/pinball fans dream. I think this should be much higher than 101 but it is a great game. I love the toys, and the playfield, there is tons of things to do and has a lot of hard shots.

I just have no clue why this game isn’t in the top 100. A Bally/Williams from the nineties. Three flipper fun. I’m not suggesting it hit the top twenty or anything like that, but I sure enjoy this pin. A very solid “B” title to add to the collection. Add color dmd. The colors are awesome. Solid pin. Lots of fun!

For any revhead this is a must have machine. It has great presence & the toys-the dragstrip & the V8 engine add a magic touch to machine. While backglass is fairly mundane pf is well designed & meets the theme very well. So glad i have this machine in my collection.

Don't know why this game isn't rated much higher. It's one of the better games out there. It shows up in a lot of pinball tournaments for good reasons. Challenging game play jackpot can only be achieved by good players. Multi ball is very rewarding. Fun races with the cars on the play field.

Overall I would rank this game in the top 50 for sure. Give it a chance it's a very fun game to play.

fast fun game lots of unique shots, I really like the racing cars on the Right side of the game that move as shots are made. The revving engine toy is great as well as the engine sounds it produces. cabinet art is also a strong point, If you like corvettes don't pass this one up.

Repeatable loop and orbit shots make this game a speed and flow monster.
"Skid ramp" shot is one of the best (and fastest) 3rd flipper shots out there.

If your into Vettes and pinball GET IT! Very tough and challenging layout. It has tight shots which I love. The drag strip and moving engine are fantastic toys! Overall I would give it 8/10.

Challenging gameplay. Revving V8 engine often doesn't work properly.

Nice fast flowing pin. Third flipper is good positioned. Jackpots not easy to score as they can only come from the third flipper which is great. Nice diverter in the right ramp which creates more ways for the ball. Overall good decent pin for just playing fun and can be challenging fast.

Corvette is a unique beast of a machine. Made back in 1994, this was when wide-body games were getting some decent attention with DM, STTNG, and TZ all having been previously released packed full of toys and goodies. How does Corvette stack up? Let's take a look.

The cabinet and translite look really sharp on this game. The blends of reds with purples on the cabinet look great, and I love how they have an older Corvette on one side and the newest (at the time) Corvette on the other. That shows some paradigm thinking rather than the same ol' "left matches right" artwork. Translite is very busy - maybe a lil' too busy. Love the malt shop throwback portion of it on the bottom left, and it's pretty cool how the "upcoming Corvette" is hidden in the translite artwork that only shows up when a very specific objective is completed. That is pretty awesome.

The playfield artwork is solid as well - the artwork has a very streamline look to it. Everything pops and flows extremely well. All the plastics are vibrant and give off a very wide variety of moods and settings.

Talk about a stuffed game here - 3 ramps, 1 diverter, 1 drop hole, 1 spinner, 4 habit trails, 2 main toys - holy smokes! Rumor has it, this was originally intended to be a wife-body game; however, last minute it was changed to a traditional playfield. All I know, wow, there's a lot going on here.

Sounds and music are so 90s in a good way. The music is very "cruising guitar music" that would be ubiquitous back when 30 minute car television shows were more prevalent. It's almost like - surfing rock music - if that makes any sense. It has a touch of Joe Satriana in it, and I love it. There's some ragtime piano music in certain modes as well - just what a hilarious yet fitting blend of music. Call outs are pretty cool - definitely some "bass" callouts whenever you do anything with the LT engine.

Speaking of the LT5, let's talk about the toys. The LT5 is a pretty cool combination of rubbers, and a set of solenoids that rock a platform back and forth with an LT5 engine cover over it, and it is a VERY cool effect. Well incorporated into the game, and it is the start of locking balls 1 and 2 before multiball begins. The other main toy is a 2 car dragstrip that runs nearly the entire length of the playfield. The player controls one while the machine controls the other. It is incorporated into 2 different modes with one of them being a "player control" shift mode using the flipper buttons. Overall, two very cool toys. I dread anything going wrong with the engine though. Seems like when it goes down, it is a very precise mechanism that cna be hard to get back on its feet. No experience from me on this one.

Flow is pretty solid overall, and the game can be punishing - especially with only 1 ball saver per game - so use it wisely. Modes are varied and pretty well thought out. It is fun to collect cars from such a wide variety of years.

So why didn't it stay in my collection? Well, I was gunning hard for a BSD at the time, and I had collected all the cars to see the new 97 Vette displayed in the translite. Not to say once I beat a game I let it go; I was ready to let someone else try and enjoy it for a bit.

Overall, Corvette is a really fun and entertaining game. I would definitely consider getting another one down the road; I would just need to have it in a bit of a bigger (7-8 pins) collection. In a collection of 4 or less, I needed to move on. Like a ride in a real Corvette though - it was fun while it lasted!

"Attrapez-moi, si vous le pouvez." (Look this up, if you don't understand the meaning)

An underrated title like Indianapolis 500 that is starting to finally gain momentum in the collector community.
Wonder why?
Its another George Gomez design, like Johnny Mnemonic!
Probably will price spike like Congo did in the next 5 years.

It has a balanced ruleset and good shot selection that reward a quality player.
There is a reason this game is used over and over in tournaments.
Game ruleset for scoring is solid.
Artwork for the most part is above average, and appeals to most car collectors.
Miles high above Stern's Mustang in terms of build quality and performance.
Toys are solid with the "revving" feature of the engine, moving engine, and car chase.
Gameplay is fast, and you have to be on your toes.
Flailing = ball drains.
Overall, if you like I500 and HSII: The Getaway, this is a perfect complement.
Rarely seen now on location.
Just watch for the game specific parts, as they are hard to come by now like most lesser production machines.
Worth every penny, if you are a Corvette collector.
I am looking for another example of this machine.

I have play a lot of pinball and i dont understand why corvette is not on the top 20 pinball machines. Its a verry fast game with a lot of ramp like the gateway or f14 but you have pretty cool toy in extra. Corvette motor is shaking ball and the toy car make a drag race when you hit ramp, its a 2500$ to 4000$ game but i think is better than manny 5000$ and + games. A verry good game for the evaluation price. In the 3000$ range i think is the number 1 game. I have buy one and i think i will never sell it!
