Cleopatra is a great representation of the 70's era. Beautiful Glass. The rules are easy to understand and follow. Cleopatra is a great starter game for anyone. The price is always right. I own cleopatra and always enjoy a game or 10 games. A good addition to a larger collection for varitity.

Surprisingly a pretty cool game for it's age. Love the Egyptian theme. I also love the BLUE LIGHTED Displays on the Back glass. The glass has beautiful artwork.

The play on this game is good for it's age. The real doorbell inside cracks me up and scared me the first time I heard it with the coin door open due to it being so loud LOL

I like the SS version much better over the EM version but they both have their unique features.

Cleopatra is not the greatest game but I'm a sucker for anything Egyptian themed.

The game is pretty simple in concept but scoring can be widely different based on strategy. At first just throw the ball to the top lanes as much as possible, then risk the targets. The targets don't reset until between balls so if all 5 are down, you're just looping to the top lanes over and over again.

There are better gottlieb Em pins. Like vulcan or fire queen. Not much to do and theme is eh. Good to part out for other better gottlieb early solid states with more appeal like hulk....

Get the PI-1/X4 board set and the rules are much better.

Seems like an average pin for the time period.

I really enjoyed owning and playing the SS version of Cleopatra. The game features a symmetrical layout and although rather basic it is still fun. Gameplay can be quick from shots made off of the center drop targets.

The backglass looks absolutely great on Cleopatra and will really make the game pop in your game room.

I would highly recommend picking up a Pascal all in one board replacement for a Cleopatra if you buy one to greatly improve the games reliability.

Simple layout hides a shooter's game. Sloppy shots are punished fast. Very fast if maintained well. This is my second Cleopatra, regretted selling my first one. This is the one that got me started. Good system 1 game.

Nice machine System 1 Gottlieb. Has drop targets and goals that make this machine interesting. I added the new pascal all in one board and it is well worth the upgrade. Gives it a skill shot and High score history. It also makes attract mode a little more interesting. Nice pin that calls you back to play.

The EM spirit is alive and well in Gottlieb's first solid state machine. The layout is typical fare, with the expected drops, kickout holes and rollovers. The five drops in the middle provide some challenge: hit them with care or you are headed straight down the middle. Neat pairing of the coloured top rollovers with the coloured drops. Art package is beautiful. And the bonus of chimes! You can avoid the later Gottlieb SS blips and bloops! Would rather own the EM version of the game, but I wouldn't sneeze at owning one of these. Sure there are better System 1s out there (Joker Poker) but the first in the series isn't that bad!

This is the earliest SS in my collection. the rules are simple. but the game play is very challenging. It is hard to get a good high score as it can play very fast and drain brutally. I have had some really good players onit and their scores are high, but not over the top. It is th pin I play when I only have 5-10 mins to waste. I love the Egyptian theme and the are work is decent.

Man I really dig this game. The version I played was an EM. I have no idea how good the SS would play nor would I really want a SS. I did not think I would be remotely interested in this game. This game is not hard but not easy either. Collecting the bonus after each ball is my favorite part. You have to collect both halves of each color along with both kick out holes to get both halves of the bonus to light up. I played this in an EM tournament and had a blast.

Pyramid is a great deck from the great Ed Krynski.

The Pros:
A simple but never easy PF and ruleset. Risk/reward at the lower drops is always on your mind, even when that 5k target is lit. Orbit shots to the top of the Pf are tight and when the action off the pops is hot, the ball can really start flying. The saucers are necessary shots and are never easy to land. Get that double bonus!

The Cons:
Those outlanes are vicious, curse them to pin-hell!

The Takeaway:
A great table to represent what pinball was at the time. Another example of a game that when set up and maintained properly, will sing. When not, it gets boring When properly cared for, tis deck plays like a champ and is an awesome example of efficient and fun pinball design that we know and love from he one and only Master K!

I played Cleopatra twice, and enjoyed it, but the lastability wasn't there for me. It's a fun game, but not one I'd ever consider owning. It was also a tad easy for my taste as well, as I got a free game on both game I played.

I like the theme of the game. It's like you're in Cleopatra's tomb, trying to unlock the puzzles to get at the treasure. With the drop targets right in the center, the shots can be a challenge and even a bit frustrating, but that's pinball...
