Noteworthy features

  • First game to use a speech chip that talks like a robot.
  • Player must complete either bank of drop targets in the lower playfield or face a loss of ball in play. Same goes for multiball: multiball is aborted and the single-ball play continues.
  • Game uses 5th scoring display as a bonus counter to count points scored on the lower level. It can be multiplied by the bonus multiplier. G-Force accelerator doubles and triples the points scored below.
  • Uses fluorescent displays including status display mounted inside apron.
  • Was made in 2 different versions: domestic and export. Domestic games had a double backglass with infinity effect and spinning disk. Export games had a regular single backglass. However, a few examples located in Europe do have an original domestic type double backglass. Export games also had a more simple sound board, without speech.

Trivia

  • Gottlieb's first solid-state multi-level multiball game.
  • Seen in the 1980’s movie Strange Brew- Cafeteria scene when Doug turns the breakers on.

Backbox ornament(s)
