So many shots to make and you have to hit them all to be able to earn WOWs - lots of good practice here. Make sure the kick-out holes are adjusted properly and they will each feed the opposite flipper. A dead flip will send it to the opposing flipper and you can then feed the other saucer for some good L-R-L-R bonus collecting action. Deceptively simple game and a late Gottlieb that is uniquely devoid of drop targets. It is possible to get the 1 from the flippers but extremely rare to do so.

Very similar layout to 1965's Bank-A-Ball and Flipper Pool, but this version (and its clones Sure Shot and Spot Pool) add kickout saucers where the old ones had more standups, plus 3" flippers over 2s. Other than that it's a nice game but really standard across the board in theme, layout, rules, etc. I love billiard themes, partly because they fit so well with pinball and partly because the rules are usually self-evident (collect all the balls) and it's the same here. This is the famous game Roger Sharpe called his shot on, which led to pinball being de-classified as a gambling game in New York.

Fun game, with some tricky shots to get all the balls. A bit of luck involved when sinking the 1 ball, but with the add a ball feature it has the potential to be good for 10 ball some games!

Great Themed Period game. The thought process in making the "1" so hard to get in frustrating though.
Good lighting and artwork. this is a game for Shotmakers.

Looking to add a wedge head to the arcade, we picked this up recently for a good price. Have always enjoyed billiards as a theme and this game doesn't disappoint. Easy to understand objective and it is all right there in front of you. I rather enjoy that the one ball is only available through an upper rollover, making it a great skill shot. Art work might not be up there with the best, but it works. Happy to have this in my collection at the moment.

Classic EM pool theme with an emphasis on ball control and aim. Getting the one ball can be a pain, but is very exciting once accomplished!

fun game, but really needs some other way to collect the #1 ball besides plunging the center lane up top. With no way back up there, you can be stuck for the whole game trying to plunge that lane and locked out of everything

Bank Shot is a Gottlieb classic wedgehead. Cool theme, nice color & artwork. It's pretty straightforward as far as rule set & objectives, but very challenging. For it's age it has active pop bumpers & slings. This pin is set up for shot making, I've found that when people begin playing it, they keep coming back for more & more. Fun pin!

Bank Shot is the game that Roger Sharpe used to demonstrate the "skill" involved in playing pinball that got the game back into NYC.

The Pros:
Lots to shoot for. Some shots are gimmes. the lane shots at the top of the PF can be shot from below (so tough) as well as dropped in from above with a bit of nudging and luck. Complete all 15 ball targets ASAP and hit the alternating lit Specials at the saucers and the center "1" upper lane. The 1 lane from the top is the "skill" shot Roger hit to prove his point to the NYC legislators and is an absolute priority from the plunger. Lighting 1-5 also lights up the pops which can offer big points!

The Cons:
Finding a copy with a nice PF and BG is a tough call.

The Takeaway:
A very simple, but never easy game from Master K and the king of pinball in the early 70's, Gottlieb. This game is a true player that keeps on giving.

Good fun EM. Only one player but simple rules keep everyone coming back. Well made but not the most artistic pin.

The AAB of Sure Shot. Both are great games in that there are different shots all over the playfield and each game is different as you never know which ball is the last one to be potted. The shot to the kick out holes is just so satisfying.
Artwork is not as good as other 70's pins but the early 60's ruled the world for artwork. Very nice to have next to a drop target games as so different.
Game needs to be dialed in so that it is not too easy and that extra balls is like getting a replay on Sure Shot. May be worth trying the game on 3 ball play.

Better than one might think, though still a simple ruleset. Lack of drops turns off many but still a fun game.
