Best shots of nearly any pinball machine. There are lots of different ways to play the game. You need to put a lot of time into it to really appreciate it.

This is a hard machine, getting a stone is not easy. The rules are difficult. Bit dissapointed that there is not any movie but they took the comic route. The machine looks beautiful but is not for me. Shots are hard. Outlanes are brutal. To progress through the game is hard.

This machine was disapointing to me. First of all I don't like the yellow color, other there wasn't any connection to movies. Some voices were really annoying. All features are quite difficult and rulesheet impossible to understand without good rulebook. For expert players this is good choice and if you are huge comic fan. Game is so difficult that it is hard to want to play it again. Theme is nice but overall music / playfield not so good for my taste.
Of course because it is new machine all voices and artwork are with good quality.

This is an above average Stern, but the phoned in theme stops it from truly being a table worth your time.

The good is that the shots are an absolute delight when you hit them. The ramps are extreme, and the whole table has an excellent feel. The bad is the voice acting. Why can't Stern hire better voice actors? It just feels phoned in and low rent.

The rule set is incomprehensible. If I added this to my home collection, I'm sure I would learn it - but to play on location, it's just too much.

Much better than the pro. My only slight is the subway. It's a little slow but it does allow a breather for player.

this game might have some of the best rules and playfield layout no doubt... however its one of the worst themed games. The CGI on the screen is probably Sterns worst ever. Lastly the game should have been based on the movie which hurts the long term last ability of the game. good game for a tournament player but not so great for the collector.

I love all the wireforms and the crazy places they deliver the ball but the rules are not that intuitive. Battles seem too similar and not as fun/varied as it could be. Pretty game in that the art on the playfield and cabinet are done nice. Music can be a bit dull. Overall it is a pretty decent game but not one of Stern's best.

I have had an LE on loan in my basement for the past 2 months.

This is the deepest game I have rotated through my basement. If you want something with a deep ruleset to get through, this is an excellent choice. However, the rules are not the most straightforward I have seen.

There are lots of shots to make. The rising spinner is cool, as is the Marvel Ramp. However, the tunnel does nothing for the game, and the mechanism that makes the ball go through the tunnel slowly is kind of pointless.

The sounds on this game are... okay and the music is repetitive and not exciting.

The artwork is good.

There are tons of ramps on this puppy, and if you are a ramp guy this is the game for you.

Animations are pretty poor... they are static pictures that move around.

If you are a good player, this is a great game, but this is not for pinball noobs and not an easy game to understand.

A typical game ball is as follows.

1. Shoot the infinity portal a bunch until it opens, then get a ball inside.
2. Start a quest, if you are an advanced player you can pick something strategy wise.
3. Shoot lit targets, try to start a Thor (captive ball) or Ironman (Stark Tower) multiball.
4. Repeat

The main objective in the game seems to be to complete modes, with an emphasis on starting multiballs while in modes.

Overall, a great game for a pinball expert, but a novice is going to have a very hard time on this. It is the type of game where if I have family over that wants to play I have a hard time explaining it.

Had a chance to play an LE on location, great game. Avengers Infinity Quest seems to be a game made for the tournament player with modes focused primarily scoring points versus offering a deep quest based experience. The ruleset in AIQ is deep and the modes themselves have different strategies to them (placing gems on character shots). However, the ruleset doesn't have a feeling of putting the player on a quest to defeat Thanos, the complexity of the rules and lack of mode choreography contribute to that in my opinion.

The layout on AIQ is one of the best that Stern has put out with a ton of unique shots spread throughout the playfield. The main center ramp can feel a bit awkward to hit from the upper left flipper but it's still a makeable shot. Call outs are unfortunately rather generic and forgettable. Music again is just average in my opinion. Animations are subpar, a vast majority of the animations are static images that briefly change flying in and out of the screen.

As far as toys go I just feel that they just average. I'm not sure what the spinning disk is supposed to represent from the Dr. Stranger character. With that being said it's nice to see the spinning disk lift up to reveal a shot into a physical ball lock. The subway ball lock with view is a great concept but more often then not you can't easily see the balls actually locked. I suppose the Avengers tower shot can be considered a toy but besides that the game feels a bit lacking in the toy / feature department (similar to Iron Maiden) versus Keith's last title Jurassic Park.

Just another incredible game by Elwin. The guy is 3 for 3! I do hope they add a little more depth beyond Trophy Mania. I have never gotten there, but close. I guess that is the end of the game, effectively. The rules are great as they stand and it shoots like butter. Looks great too!
I will say it was overwhelming at the start with the gem rules (and still is a bit), but there is so much greatness here. I am a person who digs deep and studies rules, for the record. I can see that it might be too much for people who aren't into that level of study. Still , I think you can have fun just shooting instead of shooting, planning, shooting, planning....

Really cant comprehend the negative comments on this game. It is a true masterpeice in all aspects that actually matter with the only let down being some of the animations & personality.

But once you get it, it bites hard. It's a piece of genius and absolutely Elwins best.

Grown to like this game - I feel the more you play it the more you like it. Hard to learn and complex ruleset keep it fun and great for home use environment. The ramps also have a lot of flow and are satisfying to hit. The ball lock is also very cool and unique.

I owned this from new. Straight out of the box.
I found it clunky with the ball lock feature. I love an upper flipper and that works, however generally I didn't find it comparable to the king of PF layouts JP. The first mini wizard mode is a chore and should be optional. Code can fix that. Theme to me is lame but that's my demographic...Callouts were meh. The rules are not intuitive, they are not easily understood. I'm a nerd, have owned 55 games and this game is the only one I've played where I couldn't immediately pickup "most" of the rules. If I struggle, the average punter is in trouble.
I wanted to like this and was impressed with the first stream. After a few hundred games, it needed the boot.
Prefer the PRO on this one.

INTRO: AIQ LE transcends pinball and is in the catgegory of interactive kinetic sculpture. My philosophy has always been that there is no perfect 10 in any category, and that a “perfect” anything can only score a 9.999. AIQ has changed that in the pinball category. Never before has a pin had such kinetic energy and artistic beauty. It’s a wireform roller coaster under glass. It’s the current pinnacle of design and implementation in the pinball industry and hobby, and is suitable for tournament play, mode players, and old-school walk-up-and-play shooters. AIQ in LE or Premium form is literally neurologically therapeutic to play, and is the new high water mark for pinball.

PLUS: Great for nearly endless combo shots to any and all ramps. One high point is the initial plunger service to the playfield. The shooter rod delivers the ball around the top partial orbit and on a wireform to the right flipper. This begins the game, much like Jurassic Park, with control for the player to a skill shot or the best therapy ever in the form of ramp combo shots. The top left ramp returns the ball to the left flipper via wireform. These 2 features alone keep the game from being a brick-fest or wood-chopping excursion. And the Avengers Tower lock shot is as tight and gratifying as they come, too.

The top right ramp is accessible from all 3 flippers, and the orbit for the top left flipper returns the ball to the bottom flippers for controlled play. Not to be left out, the Captain Marvel ramp is a gravity inversion scoop-to-wireform that also returns to the right flipper. The Portal gobbles the ball into a subway with visible windows, and then delivers the ball to the Pym Lab for ejection onto the same wireform as the Captain Marvel ramp.

Elwin’s design and flow are both signature-specific and ground-breaking. This is even better than Iron Maiden and Jurassic Park, and those are high on playability and theme integration, etc. AIQ exceeds all expectations and standards in pinball design and gameplay. It’s perfection as kinetic sculpture that is interactive with a player. Best tactile feel of any pin ever. It’s the “Goldilocks” pin, where everything is “just right”.

MINUS: AIQ can only have the negatives that come with licensing restrictions and designations, IMHO. Marvel chose the voice actors and designated the MCU theme to be off-limits, so this is based on the comics. Because of that, there aren’t any familiar voices from the movies, and the call-outs are generic and unfulfilling because of this limitation. (But any negative is far outweighed by the overall amazing and unprecedented gameplay of this epic pin.)

SUMMARY: AIQ is the long-play king with great (and improving) code, second only to maybe The Lord of the Rings in ways. I’ve broken my ideological guidelines to give this machine a 10. It makes me content to play only this pin, and that’s never happened to me before in my 45 years of pinballing. As much as I enjoy many other pins from the various eras, this one makes me forget almost all of them. AIQ is the best of the best, including all the amazing mid-‘90s Williams/Bally DMDs and the earlier System 11s. I’m buying a NIB LE, and it’s the one pin that will never leave my collection.

avengers, very beautiful machine, with many ramps, this machine asks you to play it, you will never get bored, full of well-made rules, very funny, the playfield drawings are spectacular, the machine in general is 10, what The only thing that does not fill me, is the music, too repetitive, otherwise great

I was surprised how much more I liked the LE than the Pro. Seemingly EVER difference made the LE so much better. I subway was really cool (as opposed to nothing happening when you “open the portal” in the Pro. Also the extra ramp fits well as it makes the playfield pop and is a tough ramp to hit, just like all of the others (because they are all steep). The Thor captive ball is so much better on the LE too.

All in all, this one really gives Jurassic Park a run for its money as best modern crowded playfield pin.
