Archer

1937 pinball based around the theme of 'Robin Hood'. The artwork was clearly designed around the Douglas Fairbanks silent movie character of 1922, rather than the Errol Flynn movie which came out a year later in 1938, even if filming had begun in October 1937. Popular with the British because of the Robin Hood connection, particularly at seaside resorts, and perhaps why they sold so well in the UK. In Britain it used a halfpenny or penny for play. Two ratchet scoring wheels under the playfield and the obligatory timer. The backglass box contains bulbs only.
