Noteworthy features

  • Elevated guitar shaped mini playfield with M-I-X rollovers that increase the multiplier.

Trivia

  • In the early 1990's, the remaining members of the defunct Gottlieb company founded Alvin G & Co., in an effort to preserve their presence on the pinball production market. The new company didn't fare very well, and folded around 1996.
  • Today there aren't many Gottlieb games surviving. In total, Alvin G. & Co. only produced 7 games: A.G. Soccer Ball (exported as A.G. Football) (Oct 1991), USA Football (Oct 1992), Al's Garage Band goes on a World Tour (Dec 1992), Dinosaur Eggs (Aug 1993), Mystery Castle (Sept 1993), Punchy the Clown (Sept 1993), and Pistol Poker (Nov 1993). None of them had a large production run. Al's Garage Band... was the most ambitious at 1000 machines produced. 3 prototype machines were also produced, but not put into full production: Dual Pool (June 1993), Max Badazz (Aug 1993), and Slam n' Jam (Mar 1994).
