Great Art, song choices and a cool toy (toybox) make this a great pin in a collection. Not the best music pin, but overall well done - it definitely feels like an Aerosmith Pin, not something else with a skin job. As with all Spike system pins, I wonder how much work will be needed to keep it running through the years.

Aerosmith is a fun game.

The layout is alright and the toybox lock mechanism is very unique and the highlight of the game (if it works properly). Shooting the ramps is fun too and I think the upper playfield is a nice feature to have. I think the Pro version is a bit less stop and go based than the Premium/LE. The Premium/LE's Elevator looks a lot better though.

Playing through the songs is fun but I think other music pins (Metallica, AC/DC) handled the rules a bit better. Despite there being many modes the game got a bit repetitive after a while for me. But playing the six ball multiball and being able to choose the number of balls is a very nice feature of the ruleset.

The artwork is very good and it is almost on the same level as on Metallica. And the LCD screen is really used to good effect in my opinion.

All in all this is a good and fun game with a very nice multiball feature. It will be ideal for fans of Aerosmith.

OK, this one takes a little to get used too. Once dialed in it shoots well, the theme and music are amazing. I found myself tapping my foot and making shots in time with the songs. On the top playfield I did not even notice the third flipper until my third or fourth game and even then it was hard to make the shots. The game plays just fine without the upper field. The toy box works well, love watching the balls sailing through the air into the box, and you can load more then 3 at a time for a bigger multiball. Overall one of the more fun playing music themed pins.

This is one game where I can definitively say the pro is much better than the premium. The upper playfield on this just stinks. The ramp to get up there is super steep and somewhat hard to make. Very dangerous if you roll back down. Once up there the shots are boring as you basically just bash stand ups mindlessly, or go for the very difficult and risky loop shot. It is nice that you can send your ball down to the lock from here though.

Other than the bad upper playfield found on the premium/LE only the game is just not that great to begin with. Tight clunky shots. Snipers might enjoy this game but it is very unforgiving. Thats not always a bad thing, but with so little else going for it, I would rate that as a con. The rules are rather blah with just starting songs and making shots. Most of the songs take way too many shots to complete and finishing the modes is on the very hard side, let alone completing a lot or all of them.

It may sound like I am just complaining that the game is too hard, but thats not the whole story. Its hard and boring. Not a great combo. Worth noting I have scored nearly a billion points on this game on multiple occasions so its not a matter of me being bad, its just not fun to do it. Another overly brutal game is TMNT and that game is way more fun than this. I actually kind of like TMNT but Aerosmith is arguably the worst spike 2 game. If its not the worst, its in the top 3 for sure. It would also be a contender for worst even with Sam and Spike 1 although its certainly better than some of the worst of those.

Aerosmith music is fine and I don't mind it. The jams are good enough to keep you grooving while you play. The Jackie voice is grating though. Not much else in the game other than Aerosmith music and Jackie taunting you in his annoying voice.

Pros of the game are the art looks good. I'm not the world's biggest fan of the Dirty Donnie caricature art style for the band members but you could do much worse. All the other art thats kinda like 70s groovy looks fine. Overall a nice art package, the game is pretty to look at, just not top tier. Another pro is the toybox which is a pretty awesome mech and one of the best mechs Stern has ever offered in a game.

Overall its an easy pass for me. I try to avoid playing at all these days unless I'm forced in a tournament or something. I might pop a few bucks in a pro every now and then as that game is at least somewhat enjoyable, but the premium with the upper playfield just amplifies all the other issues with this game. It is a game you don't see too often and they aren't up for sale very often either, so if you have a big collection or are just a big Aerosmith fan it might be worth tracking one down to play/own but its just not a great offering in my opinion.

I played this at a arcade in nemacolin PA. I found it fun. Don’t like Aerosmith music and would never own one. I liked the toys. I didn’t like the joker animations and the call out voice. But it was a fun tody and think it’s a nice fun pin to play

Fun, fast machine. Toys, gimmicks play field and cabinet design all theme perfectly with Aerosmith. Very colorful, detailed. Creative. The music is great. I think the rules don't tie in as precisely as Godzilla but it is one of my favorite machines still that I can play over and over again. Would love to own it one day.

PF Artwork is the best part of this game IMO.

I’m a huge Borg fan and this is one of the reasons. Great game play is awesome with great flow and the modes are very intuitive interacting perfectly with the animation. Adult mode has a few very funny surprises. Toys are well designed and integrated nicely in the flow of the game. The ball capture and shot into the toy box is a classic. The elevator mini playfield is challenging, but very doable making it a lot of fun. You just can not beat the music on this pin. It keeps you coming back for more!!!

Not a huge Aerosmith fan, but this is a fun game with some really good shots. Especially cool is the toy box.

I enjoy playing this game. The music is great, easy to understand what you are shooting for, the rules are fun but not deep (which is ok). It shoots well and you can get some speed going. The toy box is one of the best multi-ball modes out there and with the adult option turned on, has some funny call outs. I really like the art work and enjoy the animations, think it was really well done. If you can find one, grab it.

Really a fun game. Don't love the band, but really find the game fun. When I find it on location I end up going back again and gain to play. Animations and artwork are a bit goofy, but still, really a fun game.

The music and artwork are very good. The game is lacking in number of shots and the upper Playfield it's not the best. Overall of the newer Stearns this game is definitely closer to the bottom than the top. The Playfield layout it is not very innovative like Jurassic Park, Avengers, and others.

This is a really good game. Rules are deep. The toy box and elevator are pretty cool.

Toy box is a great toy, but gets old fast. I had this in my collection and after 3 months I was bored with it. Too bad, I love Aerosmith, but just doesnt have the lastibility of MET or AC/DC.

Playfield shots and ramps make this game fun. Music is the best!

I really don’t like the artwork. Too cartoony for my taste. But the game has variety and challenge. I go back every time I see it.

One of the best multi-ball modes out there as I love the flip of the balls into the chest. However, the rest of the game is a bit boring.
