I've had my Addams for over 20 years now, bought it NIB on the advice of a local distributor who told me it was going to be the biggest pin ever, obviously I wasn't disappointed!! The game that truly started the early 90's "golden age" at B/W, (along with T2), gave us modes, thing, and timeless gameplay.

played the machine and seriously i don't understand whats the big hype about?
not gonna say the machine is bad or boring, but it does absolutly nothing to me!
after a while, the music gets on my nerves.

Adams family, the best selling pinball machine of all time! I dont understand how someone can dislike this game. The skill shot is fun. The combo shot soooo fun! All of the modes are entertaining. There are some challenging shots on this table. The whole damn thing is JUST FUN! I dont think this is worth the amount of money that most of these bring but I enjoy playing TAF more than MM which tends to bring in double the amount. I would highly recommend anyone to buy or play this game. ITS FUN!

Ramp shot is fun to make. Some of the modes are a blast. PF design is good..though a rehash of WW
Negatives:
I just don't see the hype. Same cellar shot to start modes. The power is the cheat, not as cool as the spinning disks on WW. Theme would be better if it was the TV show. Thing takes too long to give up the ball
Recomendation:
Overpriced and not all that fun.

Honestly it took me a long time to fall in love with TAF, but I finally see what all the fuss is about. I will say from experience that if you just don't get it, make sure you get to play one that is 100% working, in good shape, with the sound up enough to hear everything. That's what it took for me. Before playing a couple really nice ones, I just didn't get it.

It's the most proceduced pin of all time, I can see why this game was so popular. It just FUN! the modes are all straight forward, nothing too hard, but its got to be the fun quotes and lighting effects that keep me coming back for more, with a great intro to multiball and then Gomez shouting second time round on multiball 'IT HAS TO WARM UP....SO IT CAN KILL YOU!

I have been playing this pinball machine on and off for almost my whole life. The toys and unique design of the game are truly memorable. My favorite features of the game are Thing flips (which I did not discover that "Thing" actually flipped the flipper himself until years after my first play), bear kicks and the multi-ball. This is an all and all great package that makes a game that everyone can enjoy.

I think what I like best about TAF is the variety of shots available. They appeal not only to expert players but to beginners as well. The leadup to multiball is also the best I've ever seen. "Now you've done it. SHOWTIME"

Plaw brings it home, this was a monster hit for a reason. Do not see this one leaving the collection anytime soon.

The game play and the games rules (the fun factor) of a pin are the most important aspects of any pin, IMO. Addams Family is a 10 in that regard. The theme is not my favorite; it's OK, but there are other themes I like better. BUT, Addams Family is way, way FUN to play. The wide variety of shots, features and so on on Addams Family add up to a pin that never grows old. If you like pinball, get an Addams Family. You'll never be sorry that you did.

I love this one! I rated a little low on the game lighting as I feel some areas are a bit dark. Though that is probably to add to the spookiness.
I think this should be the benchmark for all Movie tie-in games. An excellent use of dialogue and music from the movie. I love how the flippers play along with the Addams Family Theme Song.
