Never saw the film, the TV series is magnificent. This is a beautifully designed and themed pin with some innovative features for the time that are still unique today. It seems like an easy pin, too, which explains why so many casual players rate it their favourite pin ever. I played it a few times when it was released, but it didn't grab me like STTNG, TZ, Getaway did back then.

The game that put the silver ball in my blood. There is a reason this game is in virtually every top 10 you find. Its just great fun. The music, the call outs - that Jackpot build up. It cant be beaten. Still highly desired by most pin collectors for a reason. If you haven't played one - do yourself a favour and play one. Its what pinball is all about !! It's Showtime !!!

had this pin for a quite a while, a really fun game and a truely fun filled playfield, packed with features with keep you entertained, one of my all time greats. top machine highly recommend it!!

I bought this game for my arcade when it came out in 1990. Made more money than 5 average pinballs combined. That says something. Looking at the WMS ads, it looked boring but I made the purchase based on the advice (begging) of several college regulars. What a surprise! This is one of those rare games that anyone can play but still can challenge advanced players. I've played TAF so much I am sick of it, but not because its a bad game. Even if you don't like it, keep it in your collection for friends and family!

This was one of 2 pins in an arcade that I used to spend a lot of time in. In the beginning I played this more than Twilight Zone but as I started to rack up free games all the time I quickly grew bored with the machine and put almost all of the quarters into TZ. I like some of the toys and loved the call outs but I guess I only consider this a training pin

Favorite game I have ever owned. All my guest gravitates towards Addams Family. Simple enough rules, without being boring or repetitive.

I like it and there are a lot of shots but it doesn't feel like it is greater than the sum of its parts. Maybe, it is because the game feels very stop and go.

A top 3 game of all time on my list that will please all players. However, it can't be appreciated until you put some time into playing this. Seen several people not be impressed with it until they owned it and got further into it but have not seen many owners that want to sell theirs even with tons of them out there and the high prices that these pins demand.

Played this BITD at many bowling alleys and at the University Union building instead of going to class. Knew one day I'd own one (and I do!). Touring the mansion is exciting, difficult, and keeps you coming back for more. 50 million!!

I have only just played this machine for the first time and as much as I love the artwork and the sounds I am not a big fan of the game play. The right flipper shots are limited and this brings the game down. I would still love one but again in Australia 7K for a restored one and hard to find.

Strong game; super fun. The graphics during muti-ball are over the top excellent!

Was great to have in our house with kids and guests over. Kids of all sizes all want to see the Thing's hand come out and take the ball. Gomez shouting "SHOWTIME" is in my opinion one of the best intros to multiball of all time together with the Twilight Zone intro. The Seance mode with the ghostly music and magnets and knocker is awesome. Would like to have seen more done with the train crashes. Over all a top 10 classic of all time.

It's a top seller for a reason - I find the game a lot of fun. The random awards on the gold roms makes the scoring somewhat unbalanced in a close match with a friend, but we're talking about pinball here not the olympics :-)

Addams Family is a well made pinball machine with a great theme to base it off of. After hearing about how this was one of the most collectible and top rated machines, I had high expectations. After playing is couple games on it, I think it's a bit overrated. The sound affects and artwork are great (although some of the flashing lights are so bright it gets a bit annoying) but the play field isn't all that creative. I love the hand in the box that picks up the ball, but otherwise it's nothing all that interesting except a bumper area, a few rails, and a rotating wall.

At first I did not know what all the hype was all about, but now that I own one I love it! It does have a few dark areas (low light) but installing some Super LEDs in certain areas helps! The color DMD is a must for this pin!

I have wanted one of these for several years. Finding a deal on one is not impossible, but not very easy either. (As evidenced because it's not in my line up) The few times I have played it I have been disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it was fun to play but for being out of reach for so long I must have created an unrealistic expectation of gameplay. I had the opportunity to play it at the pinball hall of fame in Las Vegas NV. No light came from the sky, I didn't hear any birds singing, and the St Pauly girl didn't show up with a cold beer for me. The playfield and flippers had a strange feel and the shots seemed very easy. I found myself standing in line to play a METLE, ACDC, or WOZLE as opposed to no line for this one. I know this has a huge following, and I can't honestly compare this to one of the new Sterns as I led you to believe in my above comments, but comparing apples to apples I prefer IJ, CFTBL, CV, CC to this one (same era).

Been playing this a ton at a local arcade. Love the play field layout and shots. I think that its challenging enough for a skilled player and easy to learn for a beginner. Great multi ball start!
