Quoted from zacman:I am tempted to grab all 5 pins and bring them to my collection.
pm sent
people are asking me how much for all 5 games
make a fair offer I would say.
really want these to be kept in one collection
to someone who really enjoys them
and possibly complete their collection with these
Quoted from CaptainNeo:PM sent. I'd rather discuss it over the phone, have lots of questions about some of the games and I thought your Locomotion didn't have any boards in it? Hard to really give a price with the vague pictures and no specifics about how complete or working each game is.
these games are set up in my game room, all are complete and fully working as described earlier
I have other zaccaria projects and many parts I am selling separate on ebay
I might have that board you need for the Locomotion or possibly can get it for you
how much you willing to pay ? will come from overseas so won't be cheap and untested of course
Quoted from Jared:Seeking a ZAC:
-Time Machine
-Farfalla
-Magic Castle
Any leads on nice machines PM me please thanks!!!
What would your price be for excellent
Samples of those titles ?
Yes, he knows how to write old codes
He's going to try to modify code on space shuttle first since Horror was kinda based on that
If not he will do it from scratch
Might take a year or so
Quoted from CaptainNeo:Clown and Pool champion showed up for the collection. Both are shopped out and playing. Pool champion still has the sound out, but clown is fully up and running.
My gen 2 Collection is almost complete. Only 2 more to go, and I have a full set. (mexico 86 and Blackbelt). One is fairly common in Europe, the other is fairly common here. Except the people in europe don't like to ship overseas. Or at all it seems. Found 6 mexico 86's and nobody will ship, even within the continent. :/
Let me know where it is and I will get it and shipped to you
Drop me a pm
Anyone has some tips
Pool champion : flippers flip when you switch machine on but have not started a game yet?
Can not start a game
Also no sound whatsoever
All worked before till I moved it
Quoted from CaptainNeo:reseat all the connectors (especially ribbon cables). If that doesn't work. then I start with the plug in the bottom right corner of the PS board. Check all voltages. Turn it off, plug it in, take off all plugs along the left side of the PS board. Check my voltages going to the MPU and driver board. If those check out. Plug those in and remove the MPU and driver board plugs and check those plugs. Keep doing that until you see the drop. Also, try flipping the ribbon cables around.
Thanks Neo
Much appreciated
Quoted from CaptainNeo:My top 3 favs are
Zankor
Robot
Locomotion
(who am I kidding, now I have to go down the list in order)
Pinball champ
Soccer Kings
Clown
Spooky
Magic castle
Farfalla
Pool champion
Time Machine
Scramble
Devil riders
Blackbelt
Stars Phoenix
I have never played mexico 86 yet, so I can't say. It's the only Gen 2 I don't own, or ever played. Only Gen 1 I have played is Locomotion. Not including the EM's in this list.
No love for Hot Wheels ?!!
One hot wheels is ready for shipping
It’s a beauty
My own hot wheels won’t do nothing other then just playfield lights come on.
No displays or anything else.
Any tips ?
Fuses are good and all boards were checked/repaired
Even put a new CPU gen 1 in there and still no luck
Help anyone .....Neo
Quoted from Grizlyrig:Shipping where??? To me? Such a generous idea. How much does a Hot Wheels fetch out of curiosity?
-Mike
Hi Mike
To get a working one from Europe to USA
Sets you back about $3k
Took 2 years to find this nice sample
My hr rate is $100/hr
On top of purchase
You want one
Rob
Quoted from gianfri:eh eh
I know where this board is coming from
BTW, the Zaccaria Gen 1 machines are a nightmare in terms of MPU.
We are working on a new MPU similar to the one already existing for G2 but... the original project is so unstable that any single detail counts and there are big differences between early G1 machines and late ones like EWF or Locomotion.
If your board doesn't go ON and if you are 100% sure it works correctly then you have to check the power board but... if your MPU board was unassembled and you assembled it yourself (as I think) then you can be sure that there is an incompatibility with some components and good luck to find them, I had the same with the homepin boards, too many old components mixed to new ones (chinese clones) which where just not compatible anymore between them.
gianfri
I swapped the power board over from a fully working game and the cpu seperatly
The game remains dead , no displays , no start up just few playfield GI
It’s a Mystery !
Quoted from gianfri:I didn't understand, you swapped the CPU from a working machine to this one and still not working or you put this CPU on a different machine and still not working?
I have one fully working hot wheels
So swapped power supply over
But nothing
Then also cpu over , still nothing
Put both back in working machine where they came from and all is ok
Why it did not work for my non working game ?
Quoted from brenna98:Congrats. You must have bought the rvdv one.. Glad someone did, so it would stop tempting me.
Just for you then
Since I had 3
Quoted from play_pinball:Amazing! How DO you do it, rvdv?!
I love the hunt for these games
Just found a non Zaccaria called Space Rider
Coming in this weekend
It’s a Geiger conversion
Pretty cool looking
Quoted from Pinballer22:Anyone love working on these boards?
Pretty positive the ps is good but would happily pay for other boards to be looked at.
Well you got David in Chicago
Or The guy in Holland
They will need all boards to test properly
I got problem too
Credit button was installed it does not give credits
wires were cut from switched
How to go to put credits on ?
I do have Freeplay roms for Spooky
How to go install those properly
I also have Freeplay roms for Robot that I don’t need anymore
Happy to make someone happy with those
Quoted from CaptainNeo:free play roms, just set 30 to 1.
Not sure what you mean by that
So I swap the rims out then put dip switch to other position ?
Quoted from Nihonmasa:Nope, go to test mode with the white button in the door, then go to setting 30 and put it to 1
Unfortunately, all buttons are non responsive
Credit button , test button & service button
Quoted from CaptainNeo:turn dip switch 4 to on. Go to your settings. clear out all audits. Go through each setting, change each one, even if it's on what you want. But change it and go back to the setting you want. Setting 30, you want set to 1. That's free play. continue changing all settings. When you are done and through all 36. game over should stay lit solid. That's how you know it took. Turn off dip switch 4 and your set.
you need to rewire that toggle switch back up.
Well reconnected few wires according to my other spooky
I get no response from test toggle but my start button does run me through tests ???
All test run smooth but can’t make no changes to 30 without test button working normal
You have pic of how yours is wired
Quoted from CaptainNeo:Here is how mines hooked up. Gray n white, white and black n white wires
[quoted image][quoted image]
That’s how this is is hooked up also
Do you have a pic of the coin switches how the wires are on it
I’ve got too many loose wires
Quoted from michiganpinball:Picked up a Locomotion yesterday. This one unfortunately is scuffed up and has some pf wear by the flippers. Also the bg has a break in the very upper right corner - it is taped together and not real noticeable at least. It is all there and the battery hasn't leaked. I didn't turn it on but the previous owner said it didn't work. What is a fair value for this?[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Fair value this condition , $450-$550
Quoted from gianfri:Honestly, I think 7 digits are more rare because was a second production run to satisfy the high demand for that successful game.
Probably, they are more common is Australia and USA while 8 digits are more common in Europe.
I only had one 7 digit Pinball Champ (vulgarly called Champ 83) and many 8 digits (Champ 82).
hhaase
The Locomotion sounds are amazing, they even added an extra sound board to generate more sounds.
I also think it is one of the most american style game Zaccaria ever made.
Full of stars and stripes, cowboys...
Don’t forget Space Shuttle
Pure Usa
Quoted from CaptainNeo:Just acquired my last Zac I needed to complete my full collection of Gen 2's. Mission accomplished!
[quoted image]
Nice !
Hard one to find these days
