Quoted from cfh:

One Time Machine sold.

Thanks Clay!
I'm in the Zaccaria club with Time Machine!
Looks pretty decent and complete. I see a few weird things, but should clean up pretty well.

Stupid question and I should probably find the answer in the manual, but.........
For Time Machine, is the spoken language in the sound controlled by a setting or do I need to replace the sound roms to change the spoken words from Italian (at least I think it's Italian) to English?

Quoted from luvthatapex2:

These I didn't like and they didn't last more than a month...
Devil Riders
Star's Phoenix/New Stars Phoenix (only multiball gen2 game)
Time Machine
Blackbelt

Heresy!
Devil Riders and Time Machine are cool games that I really like.
Blackbelt is meh, so I agree there.
Haven't played Star's Phoenix, so no informed opinion.

Also, yes, Dave Gersic's website has lots of great info on it. Very helpful.

Does Zaccaria use a sleeve on the shooter rod?
My Time Machine shooter was sleeveless when I got it, and a new standard replacement shooter rod seems to fit fine with no sleeve. A standard shooter rod sleeve will not fit.

I am wanting to purchase a solid state Zaccaria but have a couple questions.

Lots of good info and some parts available here:

Anyone know if there are available flipper bushings that fit generation 2 games?
The ones in my Time Machine cleaned up OK, but should really be replaced. Not seeing any exact matches in my parts pile.

Quoted from cfh:

It's a really well designed board set, completely new.

Wonder if that was a planned system change that was in the works at Zaccaria, or if they started from scratch when they formed Tecnoplay.

Question for the philosophers..........
Why does a robot need a cape?

Wow. Those are sweet!

Quoted from RazerX:

Clay, try Dave Gersic. He has/had a Motor Show that he brought back from non-working and then brought it to expo a few years back.

Motor Show manual and Mac Attack schematics are on Gersic's website:

Quoted from Joeplainfield:

David used to. Not sure if he still does. http://www.zaccaria-pinball.com/

Doesn’t look like he’s updated his site since last October but not unusual for him

Got a reply from him. He is still doing Zac board repair. Good to know!

Quoted from swampwiz:

It looks like I need the coil for a kicker, which appears to be D.40 / S.1200, and cross-references to 26-1200 for Bally or Williams. I've also read that sometimes this coil is to long to fit in applications, and vendors ask if a diode should be put in. What's the deal with this? Which exact model and configuration do I need? If it matters, it is for the top hole kicker on Space Shuttle.

Looking at the schematic, it sure looks like there should be a diode on there, but look yourself to see if you agree. Looking at "Centre Top Special Hole" on the "Coils Wiring" sheet.

prepare to roll up your sleeves and do board work.

David Gersic also does board repair by mail. Lots of good info on his site also.
