depends on what you need. I have a fairly hefty stock of 6 digit displays in great condition. what's nice about the 6 digit displays is that the glass in them can be swapped into the 8 digit displays as well.

If it uses a 6 digit display I can sell you one.

Its a good pin for sure. Top five Zacs? Maybe. But to each there own. I may put up a poll here for top five Zacs. Any others want to chime in on this? ~SpOoKy

Here my new to me Zac's , Devil Riders fired right up and just needed a rubber for the motorcycle to spin.
EWF was still set for Euro specs. changed the transformer taps and replaced all the fuse holders, battery on mpu
still had voltage thank goodness, it looks original, will be replacing with a memory cap. this one fired up fine, but
needs some displays, Hope Neo can help me out with that.
Last was Farfalla, this came from the same lot. but worked out a deal with another pinsider to get this one. shipping
was killing the deal for him. Needs 3 boards, But I want to bring her back to her glory, she is just beautiful.
Got an email into David G. for some help on this one. Pretty happy with these pins, great artwork and use of color.

earth wind and fire. Nice. Always wanted to play that game.

#208 7 years ago

Shopping out the EWF I just got. I have the playfield stripped down pretty far, I am going to use the Treasure Cove kit on it. Question should I put new adhesive mylar around the pop bumpers or leave them bare? It had loose thin mylar on it. Just wondering what everyone else has done

#209 7 years ago

don't bother with the mylar. The clear will protect it.

#210 7 years ago

My first pinball machine, recently obtained a Supersonic. Just now trying to troubleshoot the bonus stepper reset, which I think gets reset when ball drains? (if it does not reset, ball does not kick out after it drains)

Anyone have a front and back picture of the back board panel? Mine is missing, would like to know if there's anything different about the panel other than it being a certain size plywood board that fits in there. (locking method, holes etc)

Thanks in advance,

Tim

Gen 1.....yup

#215 7 years ago

Just got done shopping out this EWF I don't know if this is sacrilege but I put LED's in to brighten it up a bit. It plays great and fast. Pretty simple pin actually, I am pondering if I should keep it or sell it to fund my Farfalla project. She needs 3 boards. Hoping David at Zaccaria. com can help me out on that one!! Any way here it is, converted to 110volts back to life

Edit... No longer available....

I just came across a couple of NOS Zacarria flipper bats that I thought I had sold a few years ago. They were spares for a Devil Riders that we sold some time ago.

One is transluscent red with a cover and rubber. The other two are white with the white rubber rings on them

welcome to the club Doug. Most Zac gen 2 playfields are in great shape thanks to illegal clearcoat used on them. Might have made workers sick, but damn that shit holds up great over the years.

#221 7 years ago

I just stripped the populated Devil riders playfield I just got last night. only 4 hours to do it. Now I have some parts on hand.

#222 7 years ago

I encountered "Moon Flight" at California Extreme this past July. Loved it and would love to own one!

Got a backglass for it ? mine has none but I figure it should be easy enough to remake if needed because most of the artwork is on the insert .( But still if you got one I'd be interested )

#224 7 years ago

i've been looking for an upgrade for mine. When I do i'll offer you mine.

#226 7 years ago

All I have is a playfield from a House of Diamonds. Still need the rest.....

#227 7 years ago

Also, I have a very nice used devil riders playfield if anyone is interested. No wear on it at all. Will probably clean it up and add little extra clear to it before I sell it. Unless someone needs it as is.

If anyone has a nice solid state Zaccaria for sale and willing to ship it to Colorado, please let me know. I like Pinball Champ, Spooky, Space Shuttle, Locomotion, New Star's Phoenix, and might be forgetting one or two others. Not currently looking for a Time Machine or Devil's Riders.

#231 6 years ago

I just picked up a Devil Riders that has a bad case of 60 cycle hum coming through the speaker. Has anybody else seen (heard) this and come up with a solution?

#232 6 years ago

Just added another Zac to the collection. Devil Riders fully shopped and ready for play. (This was the one I brought to the Pittsburgh Gamers-Con in case anyone had the opportunity to play it.)

Hey guys.
I've been a Zac owner for a little while. First a Farfalla and now a Robot.

I was recently making some adjustments to the EOS switches on the Farfalla flippers and now my right side 'REACT' flipper won't work as it should. If I hit the switch rapidly it does eventually fire on the 3rd or 4th press, but nt before. Strangely, with the playfield raised, it's seems to work okay most of the time.

I've checked and cleaned all switch contacts with no luck. The flipper switches do have a strange black box at the bottom where a diode might normally be on another pin... I have no idea what it is or if it is failing. The manual and schematics are not much help in identifying it either.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced these intermittent react flipper problems and can share some insight?

Thanks.

#235 6 years ago

Had the same problem, same machine and same flipper.Turned out to be badly adjust contact on the right regular flipper assembly...If the left one is working fine, adjust the same way.
(I think there is 2 sets of contacts...)

#236 6 years ago

I managed to get the react flipper working again. It seems that it was a simple adjustment on the main flipper. I just assumed the 2nd contact was an EOS switch and gapped it as close to the end of the stroke as I could to maintain power. Turns out bringing it closer fixed the issue. Thanks!

#237 6 years ago

Anyone here have an extra Devil Riders backglass they would like to sell ? Or maybe a scan of one that I could get from anyone ? I've had my Devil Riders working now for about a month, I like it and would really like to get a backglass or have one made for it .

#238 6 years ago

Now I know where all the Zaccaria Robots are residing!

#239 6 years ago

Just picked up a moon flight this weekend.

Missing the BG and a small PF scratch but otherwise it's like new. I have the BG art in hand so I'm on the hunt to source out some printing options

Six's and nine's...... How I love ya

#241 6 years ago

In the course of 2 years i stumbled on 5 time machines, 3 farfalla's, and a devil riders, lol. All were in great physical condition.... just dead as door nails and filthy.

Out in the pile of never ending projects there's a devil riders with a bell games conversion kit playfield in it that looks like a full on rip off of pinbot with some minor art changes.

Mr game used a few zac boards in their machines as well.

And after zaccaria crashed and reorganized into tecnoplay.... they made a few more machines and finished producing with this. tecnoplay space team. 4 ball multiball with a funky backlit horseshoe ramp Still in business today as a distributor. My LAH was reimported and has their label on the coin door (truthfully i only wanted it so i could get that sticker

Hey Zaccaria fans , My Devil Riders was missing it's backglass . so this is what I'm doing to replace it .This could be an option for others looking for a hard to find backglass . I had a piece of tempered glass made , cost me $25 . I had a translite printed at a print shop , $80. I will need to cut out the center since on Devil Riders it is mostly a border and the majority of the artwork is on the insert .

20150210_201845[1].jpg 20150210_201813[1].jpg
#247 6 years ago

For the areas at the bottom that are highlighted by the insert bulbs I'm cutting a mask from vinyl and applying to the backside of translite so the lights look proper when lit . I'll post pics as I progress , Just picked up the translite from the print shop today , so I haven't cut it out yet .

#248 6 years ago

Still have to make the mask for the backside , and put the players numbers in . Also I had a lift channel but need trim for the sides of the glass . But I am happy with the way it looks so far . Total cost for this including the trim and lift channel will be around $120.

Guys, I'm a Zaccaria virgin but a Devil Riders has come up for sale locally. Is $1300 a good price for one in great (8-9/10) condition? Love the look of it and sorely tempted!
