Hello everybody,

I received a Farfalla, it's my first solid state pinball (I restored a lot of WPC previously).

No battery leakage, first good point and I can start a game, second good point.
But in attract mode or in game, some of the coils "pulses" permanently. They are not always on but switch from off to on to off very quickly.

Have you an idea of what can I look to try to find a solution ?

You are right, I read on TP4 at power supply 4,2V. I didn't check as the CPU boots.
Thus, it's possible that those symptoms are linked to this low 5V ?

Thank you very much for your help.
The other TP are also a little bit low (except TP3).

TP1=160V
TP2=10.5V
TP3=5.8V
TP4=4.2V
TP5=37.7V
TP6=-4,9V

I took look at the schematic. If I understand well, The creation of 5V is quite simple. I'm must verify that I have 6.5VAC between pin 9&11 of CN1 to see if it's ok at the transformer side, verify if I have 47 Ohm at R20 and if the two answers are yes, the only other possibility of failure is P3. The 5V is not regulated ?

I just verified and yes, it's ok.

I also verified voltages at CN1

Between pin 1&2: theoretical:165 VAC Measured: 166VAC
3&4: 10 VAC - 9.7 VAC
5&6: 10.5 VAC - 10.5 VAC
7&8: 43 VAC - 43.5 VAC
9&11: 6.5 VAC - 7 VAC

Thus, everything seems good. To be sure I replaced the two parts of the CN1 connector but no change.
