PayPal story, not eBay but close enough.
Sent out a batch of the single handed accessibility controllers we build. Guy files a claim on PayPal "box was empty" and PayPal holds the money instantly, on buyer's word. A great benefit for scammers, because the burden of proof is on seller.
I submitted my USPS receipt, which showed 8 identical packages of indentical weights. Took photos of my scale showing an empty box vs a packed one. Got my money back.
PayPal buyer protections are a bit too much IMO. Six months no questions asked?
