I have a williams line drive and it's one of the things I've had the longest in my collection. Do I play it very often? Not really, but if you have the room and wants some diversity you can't beat a pitch and bat.
As others have said, when we have guests over it gets played quite a bit. It's easy to get the hang of and the concept is something everyone understands. If you're playing a 2 player game you're not waiting 10 minutes or more (like you might on a pinball machine) for your turn.
I also have a ball bowler and the same is true for that. It's a concept everyone understands and it's your turn pretty quickly.
