Like others have said, I can't really imagine a situation where I would actually have to choose. My wife is one of the most relaxed women you'll find. She "puts up" with me, how could she not be.
If some lunatic bust into my house and said "I burn your pins or your wife" I'll help him pour the gas on the pins and flick the lighter myself. There's no decision to be made.
