My wife stays. Getting the pins this year has made us spend more time together which has been a nice added benefit. She doesn't play them much, but likes to be in the garage with me when I'm playing or working on them. She sits back, has a beer or two, and sometimes will play some Sorcerer. But, if things came down to having to choose (don't know what situation that would be) I'd always choose the wife. She's awesome. And so are my stepkids. Well, at least my stepson. The stepdaughter makes me want to strangle someone. But, overall, she's cool.
