Yes, buy it....

It was a good idea the first time you posted this thread, but it is becoming a bad idea with each subsequent thread.

GODDAMMIT STOP POSTING THREADS

Yea I know...when I edited it the first time and save the revision, it created a new post.

I'm looking for a way to delete the other posts

I think only mods can delete threads. Maybe edit the title to a request for deletion?

Yes.

I grew up playing high speed so I may be biased. Even if I'm biased, it's a great machine. The rules are simple so you need to be okay with that, but it's a lot of fun.

@ Jake: yea I just sent a msg out to report it and take them down.

@ everyone: if this post/topic is taken down, thanks for the feedback.

HS is a game I never get sick of. Very simple, yet hard to do.

HS is, gun to my head, probably my favorite pinball machine of all time. Nothing about it gets old, nothing loses its punch. It has a ramp, 3 flippers, spinners, star rollovers, 3-ball multiball, music, voices, flashers, a mirrored backglass, not to mention historical significance!

High Speed isn't just a good "first" pin, it's a good "only" pin!

Seriously, just buy one.

High Speed has been my only pin for 5 years now! It satisfies my pinball craving quite well, plus it brings me back to the mid 80's when I remember playing when I was 15 years old. I like the simple rules, if you want depth play video games!

My favorite until DMD's appeared. I would own it, but I bought a Getaway as my first instead.

I would recommend a High Speed. It is old enough that you will have to learn to do repairs, but new enough to be fairly reliable. On the plus side, lots of parts are available for it.

Just bought one myself, and I already own some great DMDs, including LOTR, WH20, IJ and STTNG. HS is a classic.

My first pin and not going anywhere. Excellent first pin, imho.

... but, in retrospect, I wouldn't want it to be my ONLY pin.
