Can't tell my favorite but this year I watched:
The Keep (1983)
The Human Centipede (2009)
Cannibal Holocaust (1988)
From Beyond (1986)
...and liked them all so far. The Keep has a stunning soundtrack.

I still love the good old The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974).

"Torture porn" is a Horror sub genre for movies like Saw, Martyrs, Funny Games or A Serbian Film and I'm not a big fan of it. But after all The Human Centipede is not dumb at all IMO. The Film brings back the good old mad scientist/doctor which I like. But make sure The Human Centipede is not a "feel good movie"!

BTW I forgot to mension: Demons (1985)

Tonight I watched "Angst" (fear) from 1983 and highly recommend this movie. It's based on a true story. With soundtrack by Klaus Schulze. If there is any translated version watch it!
