What were your pinball-related highlights of 2021? Looking back through my photos and thought it might be fun. Keep it pinball related please, my other social media's already completely full of travel + family photos. I'll start with:

    - My favorite location re-opening the full floor
    - Receiving my first NIB pin
    - Getting to play some head-to-head Fastbreak with my buddies as our good lord George Gomez intended

    I had 2 weeks without a mask! Then I didn’t.

Family, friends, and health. Everything else was a bonus.

I got to reopen my arcade so people could play pinball again. Guns & Roses only saw two weeks of play before I got closed last year. So I would think reopening to be my highlight.

Getting my first machine! It was starting to feel like I'd never own my own pin. When I was younger I never had the cash. Then I just never had the space.

Now it's just a matter of finding more pins in stock lol

    Quoted from Yelobird:

And my visit wasn’t a Highlight??

I'm sorry. A terrible faux pas.

Dave, the Modcouple guy made a pilgrimage to my business. It was the highlight of my life. CNN and all the major networks covered it.

Thank you for making my whole life worth living Dave.

Played my first tournament hosted at my dad's house. I didn't win, but at 2am I destroyed the ring in LoTR in a four player game then mic dropped on the second ball and went to bed.

I ordered GNR with my wife’s permission, even though she is indifferent at best to their music.

I warned her that LZ was being unveiled next, which is more in line with her musical taste. “Well you’d better get that one too,” she said.

With the birth of our children and the Penrith Panthers three rugby league premierships, these are the moments in life I will cherish forever…

    4 games come to mind.

    1) 6 sim card game where I got through the 11 modes on dialed in
    2) coming a few T-Rex shots away from reaching Escape Nublar in JP, but a good 2 billion scored
    3) Getting 24 of 25 modes in JJP Pirates, as well as 4 of the 5 movie wizard modes (1 away from getting through it)
    4) Starting 28 of the 30 modes in Hobbit

Getting close but not getting it seemed to be a recurring theme, it's what brings me back! Although......

    5) Defeated the Emporer on SW Pro a day before I was set to have it be the first pin I sold.

Realising my 7 year old had surpassed me... Sorry was this highlights or lowlights?

100% bringing pins to freeplay at pinfest. It's usually just me and my family playing my pins. It was awesome getting to share Rick and Morty and a few others at pinfest. I am 100% down to bring another A list game to pinfest this year and trying out the huge selection of games again. Also... amish market.

My 2021 highlight was becoming a full-on blithering Elwin fan & adding JP Prem and Godzilla LE to my collection. Also selling 2 of my classics that I’ve owned for a long time, and not having any regrets - I think that was a healthy step forward for me as a hobbyist, and I think it’ll continue this year.

My 2021 highlights were to become a Pinhead. Got introduced to the hobby and love the new skills, hand/eye coordinations required, learning the rules of a games and finding games that resonates with me.

Also loved learning about the How it works and how to fix those or change some components, it was great to have someone showing me the ropes.

I was able to get a BDK and Godzilla as my first 2 pins. We also did some road trips to find some nice locations to try out some other pins.

This is a fun hobby and hopefully I can keep learning all about it.

Here is to 2022 and potentially 1 more pin!

My highlight was saving my entire collection from Ira flooding. Sure, Cyclone fell over and into the water, but you'd never know it.

Also finally got to Pasttime Pinball in VT a couple times. Awesome place if anybody is ever in Southern VT.

Finishing my Evel Knievel playfield swap.

Building my man cave and get to move my pins to a dedicated gaming room.

Adding my dream pin, an original MM, to my collection.

Seeing people being able to play at venues again, as well as playing at those venues too.
