Sure there is a kid here or there that plays pinball, but not enough to sustain today's enthusiasm.

Look in any arcade. 10 kids playing DDR, 0 kids on the pins.

Most kids hate whatever their parents are into.

They were premature.

I'm surprised by the very young kids that are into Rockabilly, but I doubt that any of that music is going to top the charts again.

Since we will never have the schematics for the new Sterns, no one will ever be able to repair them once boards are unavailable.

And the Roomba will still get wedged under the couch "Uh oh kids, who can find where the Roomba is stuck???".

Amazing that kids under 13 were playing pinball, and more amazing that kids so young could even understand enough about the game to play all afternoon.

When I service games at an arcade and have credits left, I'll sometimes wave a kid over to use them up, and they just stare as the ball drains "This is dumb".

At the rate that pins have increased in price since 2002, a new pin in 2040 will be $34,300

No way today's youth will be able to afford that AND deal with the fallout from the current federal deficit (the last time the US had a balanced budget was 1998).

Pins will get them addicted to gambling at a young age, then they will stand there, like rats at a feedbar.
