    Meth and heroin use is up because of the opioid epidemic not because melenials use heroin.

    People who were prescribed hundreds of opioids for “pain” became addicted. Then they could not get a prescription any more for many reasons ended up turning to the streets for their fix. They became addicted to drugs prescribed to them first and the age range is not the generation x or melenials but their parents ages.
