Yeah mine is busted too. Anything is possible. I've done lots of art like that. Tough thing is getting enough people to make it affordable. More people is cheaper per.
You can scan the art then clean it up then print high quality decals and put them on the bottom side (decals printed sticky side up)of blank plastics. The art isn't hard for be. Getting the plastics cut and getting enough people to order to make it worth the printing printing.
As for the sticker decals I don't think that process was ever finished. He did some at but never finished the set nor printed them

I've been putting some plays on RK lately. The playfield is in pretty decent shape overall except for this wear spot at the right lock. It's such an eye sore. Does anyone have a scan or know how I can fix this? There is also a decent scratch under the entrance for the center ramp that you can see in the picture but it's not as visible and I might consider fixing it later depending on how the right lock repair looks.

I don't have a scan but that's not too complex. You could paint it or if you pulled stuff off and scanned it I could touch up the scan so you could print a decal.

I thought about trying to paint it, but I've never done a touch up before and my art "skills" are minimal at best. I would be ok pulling stuff off of it, but how do I scan it? Any help from you would be much appreciated! 
I really like this game and I would like to make it look better if I can.

Ok, hopefully someone here can help me. Got the Road Kings all cleaned up and working great. New bulbs, rubber, shooter, etc - what a difference! I can send a video, if I knew how to get it on here? Just to show the lights and more importantly the sounds. (and voices)
1) My sounds/music seems more like 21st Century "Devo"? ( I had seen other posts about U2 music, or even Meat Loaf? Is that a mod, or not real?
2) My switch to modulate thru the diagnostics - the middle tab, left hand side on the switch closest to the machine of the 3 (on the coin door, next to the up or down switch) that the white wires solder to had broken off. So I soldered them to the top left hand tab. The machine works now, but it will not allow me to modulate thru the tests. (I hope this all makes sense, I'll attach pics) So, can I reattach another wire to another tab on another switch to get this to work right, or will I need to replace that switch? Can I just replace the single, or is it a triple ? It's playing, I'd just like to have it back 100%
3) This is the actual "issues" part - when I start her up, I get three (3) "knocker" alerts - (Which I take it is the auto diagnostic?) These are all "Adjust Switch" - L Jet Bumper, R Jet Bumper and Left Out lane. What do these mean? I "cleaned" the switch blades on the R&L out lanes, but didn't fix it.
4) I changed the bulbs for the lightning bolts (4 on each) - but I do not see them working. Is there a trigger that makes these come on? (Like getting all ROAD KINGS lit?)
5)The power supply unit has an outlet on the box inside the cab. I bought a light mod kit that goes under the cab (yeah, Red) - can I just plug this kit into that outlet without causing issues on the machine? (That way when you turn it on, it all powers up together)

And once I checked those gates are not activating so it’s probably needing adjustments on those. I’ll update once I find what the issues are
Still need to know about the power outlet and if it’s useful for the low power lights as A mod under the cab ?
And if anyone can “chime “ in on the music part question above (pun intended)
Just need some help on the jet bumpers adjust switch alert. My two outer lane switches are not working. The left side does have a bumper that could knock the ball back into the playfield. It isn’t working. I presume it’s off that side switch. The right side doesn’t have any thing. So didn’t understand the alert. Or how to fix either of these switches if these are in fact the two it’s referring to? Never ending quest huh?

I’ve heard others use a glue gun as the self sticking stuff on the back does not adhere well. But I actually used one of those larger chrome industrial staple guns. The staples are actually large enough to spread accross the led strip without penetrating it. Keeps them in place. The kit I ordered had two strips. 36” long. I put one diag across the bottom and one accross the head. Thought it turned out nice for $50

Road kings machine. I was adding ring LED lights to my bumpers, connected by a replacement build that had an additional wire coming from it to connect up the ring. Seemed to work fine but when I was putting the bumper car back on the GI lights went out. Fuses appear to be fine. Also, the game isn’t starting up anymore. Pressing the start button just makes a sound of a motorcycle starting up, which is the sound that it makes if there is a ball missing. I don’t know what else to check. Can someone help

Man its lonely here in the Road Kings club. Any chance a Road Kings owner could photograph their left slingshot coil and wiring? I have no coil power in game or in coil test, and switches dont register in switch test either. This area has been worked on by someone and I think the wiring is incorrect. Thanks!

Hello Road Kings challengers. Working on a comprehensive scoring and rules sheet for RK. I think I haver all the element but I am trying to figure out what builds the Time Lock score. Know how to collect it but not what builds the value. In the manual it just says the value can only be built during MB. I also know it starts at 200K and it seems that it builds in 1k increments (maybe 10k as well). Any insight would be welcome. A LOT more to come from this project.

I made a custom set for a buddy, if I can find the file I will gladly share them. I'll go look for it now.
Here are the ones I created, if anyone likes them, please feel free to use. I create all my custom cards in word, so that I know they will print out the correct size. I snipped the picture from there so that I could post here, but if the resolution or sizes are off, feel free to message me and I can email you the original word file too.

Ive completely depopulated and repopulated the PF twice now in the cleaning and fixing process...
All metals are now a mirror finish, and all mechanisms work as they should...
TO DO LIST:
Order some flipper lane repo metals from cliffy
Find left flipper plastic( mines there but cracked)
Middle suacer hole plastic ( there but broken)
Decals for all targets and drop target
Decal for right ramp
COMPLETLEY STRIP PF put on the rotisserie and begin the artwork resto and final clear. (This game is behind my Paragon in cue for the rotisserie)
Anybody got a line on new thunderbolt inserts?

Second is after all the polishing and cleaning ( ball swirls are left to be done as this is going to be touched up and cleared in the future)

I've created these custom apron cards, and am making them available for $10 per set, including US postage. I print these on a photo printer using OEM ink (no cheap third party) and OEM ultra gloss photo paper. I then cover in 3 mil clear gloss laminate, and razor cut to size.

Thinking about making the "Y" ramp for this game this year...anyone need one? I was thinking one in a light smoked black would possibly look cool as well. I am not sure I would curl around the ramp edges though...probably just leave them flat like most other ramps.

I'd take one. Mine is OK but very yellowed
I got a Road Kings in nice shape.
It's got 2 playfield wear spots both around the middle where there isnt any mylar. The middle target all around and the vuk right next to it. I contacted cliffy he doesnt make protectors for them yet.
My question is how the best way to touch this up and build the wood back up.? I was thinking of using an epoxy.
Does anyone know of a better technique or resource for touch ups?
