Ramps that jump
Smash toy car
Hurry up races against different trucks
Modes that are win both the race and freestyle across several cities (programmable by user) with super jackpot by winning the finals in Vegas, just like real thing.
An LCD screen could have some great live action clips.
Choose your truck/racer.
A shaker motor standard with kick ass soundsystem for engine revving.
Collecting parts to build your own monster truck
So many possibilities......
I'd like to see some mixed music ones, like it's a concert with various bands. A punk one with sex pistols/clash/ramones etc songs or something like the last waltz with the band/dylan/young etc
Quoted from o-din:In all honesty, nothing I like would anybody on this board probably like. And vice versa.
You know damn well how much I love Death Race 2000. I've even got my Myra action figure to put on the....oh you know what, never mind.
Quoted from TheLaw:I love Death Race 2000.
Well, that makes two of us. For every one of us there are 100s of others that would rather have Muppets or Toy Story.
My dream theme is probably a dream for me and me alone...Tales of Symphonia. Any of the Tales series games would be great, to me, at least, but ToS would be The One.
Maybe if I dip my toes into homebrew someday.
Maybe this is blasphemy on Pinside. But, I really think we can get a lot of themes for virtual tables without all of the capital for making physical machines. I am waiting fingers crossed on a TBL, because that's a dream theme for me.
The industry overhead seems to be in the physical design. There is no shortage of ideas out there. There is no shortage of design capable people in the community. I'm super excited for Scott Danesi, but maybe one game every few years can get to market like TNA. If we like these themes, we should start working on them virtually.
I always post Insane Clown Posse, for the "Magnets... How do they work" magic magnetic multiball.
