    Quoted from RTS:

Its more proper name is the Affordable Care Act, or ACA.
Political rivals offering no alternative coined the term Obamacare hoping to instill opposition with voters who have no understanding of the benefits of the program.

In Massachusetts, it was called RomneyCare. It’s a compromise between single-payer, and letting the insurance companies cherry-pick who they cover. My buddy had a spinal disorder and could never get insurance, even through his job that offered insurance. ACA changed that. It’s not perfect, but it’s a big improvement over what we had. If it were up to me, we’d have universal coverage from birth through 15 years old. We already have free public schools, so I don’t think this is much of a stretch. Once you’re 15, you can get a job and pay for your own damned healthcare! lol.

    Quoted from DanQverymuch:

Especially if they waste their money on "homeopathic" products, which are completely useless and a total scam!
I hope everyone here knows this. "Homeopathic" doesn't mean organic or natural, it means products based on the ridiculous premise that water has some sort of "memory" and that diluting a solution multiple times can somehow make the supposed "active ingredient" even more effective! It's all garbage and should not even be allowed in pharmacies.

Ah Gee. Just when I thought I could sell you a Himalayan Salt Lamp.

He was 77. This action is going to start happening with more frequency. The baby boomers are all on the downhill run now.

Here are some pics of celebrities who are older than 70. We grew up with these people.

    https://www.imdb.com/list/ls002204062/

    Robert De Niro is 78

    Sally Fields is 75

William Hurt died March 2022. He was 71.

Anybody want to place bets on who is next

That phrase, "dropping like flies" keeps going through my head

I'll be 70 in a couple of weeks. I don't feel like I have one foot in the grave. No sir!

But I'll take liberties and claim, that at 70, I have earned the privilege to speak of death and dying in all irreverent ways possible No matter how distasteful some may find it

So, who is going first? Jack or Gene? How would odds be assigned for this? 7 to 1 for Hackman that Nicholson goes first? Or no odds for Hackman checking out first?

Since we are mentioning actors who are doing so well. I am AMAZED with William Shatner (91) with Josh gates, "SharkTrek episode." If you haven't seen it yet, it's a must. The guy is just so unbelievable it what he is doing at his age. That was a scary funny as hell episode for Bill.

On my xfinity it was the back 1/2 of season 10 ep 11 "Egypt's City Of The Dead" of (Exhibition Unknown). on others it was Just SharkTrek.

I lived behind the 54 Drive in in the 60s. I got to watch a lot of "free" shows. There was a 50 foot strip of "no mans land" between a long block of peoples' backyards and the drive in's chain link fence. Someone unraveled a piece of the chain link and we kids would sit behind the fence to watch the movies and then "trepass" in and spend money at the hamburger stand. The theatre management just looked the other way as nothing ( other than the fence) was being vandalized. This is where I saw The Beatles in their movie Help!

Now that's a job! I'm about to do one of my front bearings on a CR-V and not looking forward to it. At least I don't have to completely disassemble a washing machine to get to the bearing

    When...
Your age now can reflects the age of the best years of muscle cars. (IMO)

    Memories:

At 64 I did own a 1964 chevy impala ss 4 speed (blue) used
At 65 I did own a 1965 Meyers-Manx dune buggy (yellow) no muscle car that year.
At 66 I did own a 1966 Pontiac Lemans 6cy ohc that I blew up the Motor and stuck a 326 in it and left the badging of the ohc 6 (fun)
Turning 67 now.. I did own a 1967 Chevy Chevelle ss loved having that key high on the dash.

    Soon: (hopefully)

At 68 I did own a 1968 Pontiac GTO and a !968 Camero RS (wish it was the ss)
At 69....missed that year..bummer...good stuff out there. My girl cousin bought a 1969 orange GTO Judge though !!
At 70 I did own my favorite...1970 Pontiac GTO Bermuda Blue Poly
71/72/73/74/75 Missed...(was into Motorcycles those years, and beyond for that matter)
At 76 Last of the muscle cars (for me) (1974 for most muscle car buffs) was a 1976 Pontiac Trans Am ..wish I had that again..fun car.
After that..Muscle cars kinda faded in the sunset....and I never cared for any cars after that.

Ute are the Indigenous people of the Ute tribe and culture among the Indigenous peoples of the Great Basin. They had lived in sovereignty in the regions of present-day Utah and Colorado in the Southwestern United States for many centuries until European settlers colonized their lands.
